Review: Urban Decay Eyelash Primer Potion

In my dreams I have long, lush eyelashes that point towards the sky rather than sad little floppy things. Alas, it was not to be…so that’s why we have lash primers:

Urban Decay Eyelash Primer Potion!…the brush is a traditional bristle and the texture is thick and white:

Does it work? See after the jump!Urban Decay Say:

Tiny fibers band together, cling to every lash, and construct towers of Babel… reaching for heavenly lashes. Just apply Eyelash Primer Potion, then apply your favorite mascara as usual. Your lashes will look fake, but the magic is real.

Our protein-rich and paraben-free formula conditions, fortifies, and thickens lashes with Silk Protein, Panthenol, and Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein.

Bare lash:

With one coat of the primer:

The primer is quite a heavy one – it made my lashes look thicker and longer but it did also weigh them down. For women with naturally long lashes and curl this could work, but it struggled to hold my curl. With mascara:

This lash primer reminds me of the Chanel and Lancome formulas – the white based ones which can weigh down puny lashes like mine. If you have longer, stronger lashes that hold curl this would probably work for you.

      Hi Styleezta

Yep! I find that too, a lot of the white based primers are just too heavy for our lashes. Only Shiseido works for me. I have never tried doll eyes but I will get my paws on some! x
