Over the next 10 days I will be featuring some hair swatches of Palty Foam Hair Dyes I managed to get hold of! You can use these as a guide as to how the hair colour should turn out although it will also depend on your current hair condition, colour etc.

You know, I tried a macaroon recently and whilst I’d say it would be quite nice with a cup of tea, I would only rate it say, 2/10 for satisfaction compared to say, a Chocolate Hob Nob.
Nevertheless, there is something irresistible about the idea of an elegant macaroon. There are 2 Macaroon shades in the Palty range, Macaroon Brown and Honey Macaroon. This is Macaroon Brown which has some strong reddish tones to it:

The new Palty dyes look amazing, check out the brush and cup! I can’t wait to try it although…I am so happy with salon dyed hair at the moment I don’t want to ruin it with home dye. Hmm.
Macroon Brown is one of those browns that are quite common in the Asian Hair dye market; full of golden and red tones. I find most browns in the Western market are more conventional and ‘flat’ (ie. Medium Brown, Light Brown, Dark Brown) whereas the Japanese ranges have more nuances:

Macroon brown to me, has a stronger presence of red in person – almost a bit too muh for me as it then start to look a bit auburn which I am not keen on:

I think Macaroon Brown has too much red in it for black Asian hair- will get brassy fast and high maintenance!
Hey Jamilla
But doesn’t Asian hair have a lot of red in it anyway? Hmm I dunno I always avoid reds if I can
I like this color… and I agree about macaroons! They are mostly about looking cute.
