Origins GinZing Brightening Cream Eye Shadow & Pepper Please Review!

I had absolutely no idea that Origins did make up…well, I knew they did concealer (and a bloody amazing concealer it is) and some cheek gels. But a whole eyeshadow range?! This I did not know!

Being Origins, the products have a natural earthy feel. What does that even mean? I don’t know. But I feel like it’s going to do my eyes good just by wearing them…look, there’s a tree on the box!

Origins GinZing Brightening Cream Eye Shadow Pepper Please Review

I have the GinZing Brightening cream eye shadow in 01 Vanilla Vroom and Powder Eyeshadow in 17 Golden Ticket.

The GinZing Brightening cream eye shadow in 01 Vanilla Vroom comes in a sturdy glass jar, and is a lovely cream coloured er, cream eyeshadow. It has no shimmers whatsoever which makes it a great base colour for the eyes.  Golden Ticket eyeshadow is a beautiful golden-soft bronze colour which I love, although some may find it overly warm.  Together though they are definitely brightening – the vanilla opens up my eye area and the gold eyeshadow makes me look more awake!

I really like both of these products, in particular the cream eyeshadow, which has a firm but not stiff texture – it’s not mousse-y but spreads nicely anyway with a nice even pigmentation. Origins GinZing Brightening Cream Eye Shadow Pepper Please Review 3

Check out Origins eye make up ranges here. The cream eyeshadow is £17.50 and the eyeshadow is £15.
