No. 2 MUA Professional Eyeshadow Palette Poptastic – Swatches and Review

Next up on this MUA palette day (hehe) is Poptastic.  This is the brights one – full of blues, pinks, yellow and orange.

This is the sort of palette I usually jump for but in my old age (ahem) I am really loving more neutral shades.  Nevertheless, there’s always room for some brights.  MUA Professional Eyeshadow Palette in Poptastic

Once again like the palette I reviewed earlier, the shades are sort of random. Yes, there are lots of blues but I’d love it if there were more contrasts in the palette too rather than clashes.

Oh the applicator – It’s sponge tipped and not my thing I’d prefer to use a brush – but be warned, these powders are a little loose so a sponge does work well with them:

I find the bottom row of colours brighter and more appealing, especially the green and blue combination.  It reminds me of a Shiseido Luminizing Eyeshadow Palette I bought but at the fraction of the cost. I still say for £4, this is a cute buy if you like brights or want to try them out. There’s also a slight sheen to them which the Sleek Palettes don’t tend to have with their super bright shades (they tend to be matte).

What do you think of this palette?
