Nars Mini Haul

It’s Sunday and I’m watching repeats of Jamie Oliver’s Naked Chef. His hair was messy, he wasn’t a daddy, and he lisp was a million times worse.

Anyway, I did a mini haul from Nars Spring Collection. The colours are fresh and pastely – which isn’t really my thang, but there you go.

I was forced convinced by my best make up artist to buy this eyeshadow – it’s Red!:

Grenadine is a matte, deep red.

Remember the look?

Yeah….let’s see, let me have a play and see.

I also got hula hula – I don’t know why since I’m not into pastels. The beige of this palette is extremely lovely, although I’ve realised its a crease colour, not a highlight as it looks dirty. Both sides of this has that chunky glitter that you find in Super Orgasm – I didn’t notice any of it falling n my face though because I always use a sticky eye primer.

I used Jill Stuart’s Champagne Eye Jelly as a highlight. I didn’t love it at first but now I am loving its versatility:

I’m still not sold on their spring collection. I was in selfridges yesterday and most upset that the Shrinagar lipstick is nothing like it looks on the net. I love how high your eyebrows, so pretty!

      Hi Elizabeth

Aww thanks! Shrinagar lipstick was a disappointment for sure :o/ Overall I bought a lot less than I usually would and i think that shows that the overall collection didn’t really match the ususal nars standards. It felt all over the place.

      Hi Suka & Spice

I find that Lunasol’s is quite sticky compared to others – Art Deco Base is more greasy but you can press the colour onto it and it will stick. Otherwise, Nars cream shadows work well as a base (no good on its own, it creases like mad) and are quite sticky. Something like Klondike (off the top of my head) would look nice with Hula Hula.
