Nails Inc Nail Polish Swatches! Nail Jewellery in Sapphire, Special Effects 3D Glitter in Hammersmith, The Thames

It’s random nail swatch day, and today they come courtesy of Nails Inc.

There are so many nail polish options around these days, special effects polishes etc. I just can’t keep up.  If I can actually find the time to paint my nails (and it doesn’t get smudged instantly) then I like to have something bright and perky – cheerful isn’t it?!

Here are three picks from Nails Inc – Nail Jewellery in Sapphire (£11):

This sapphire true blue has a ton of multi sized glitters, large and small. Two coats gives decent coverage. I have to say I am drawn to glitters perhaps because I am not so great at getting perfect application and glitter is easy to apply and hides a multitude of sins. This is a fin colour to wear – it didn’t last long on my toes though, I would definitely recommend a good top coat with this one.

Special Effects 3D Glitter in Hammersmith (£11):

More uniform glitter in this one in different tones for the ‘3D effect’. I found this easier to apply than the first and it has a finer texture.  Again, this hides a multitude of nail sins and you can not be so great at application and still end up with an ok nail with this product!

The Thames Crystal Cap Polish (£15):

This grey (is it supposed to be the same colour as the Thames?!) is a neutral cool grey which I quite like for a more natural nail. It looks more grey mauve on my nails, which I quite like, and applies well too. This lasted longer than the glitter polishes, of course the glitters have more ‘height’ making them for vulnerable to wear and tear!

What are you wearing on your nails?

I am allll about the Maybelline Color Show’s at the moment. All the polishes I’ve tried from them apply flawlessly and the glitters are so pretty. Have to admit, I love glitter polishes for the exact same reason, haha. Although removing them is definitely a pain! Any tips? :)
