MUFE Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer Review

The final item I purchased from my Make Up For Ever haul is this Full Coverage Concealer.

I chose this one because…can you guess? Its waterproof! This concealer is the real thing – it gives a waterproof, oil free, matte flawless finish. You’ve got to love a concealer that really does the job!

I paid £20.50 for this (eek) and bought it in 10 Golden Beige. I was actually looking for Beige 08 but was told this was a pinker base and that they had sold out of it anyway – I’m glad I went for Golden Beige because its perfect for my NC35 skin (not ideal for under eye as I prefer it a shade lighter, but still!).

They say:

Designed to cover major imperfections like scars, hyperpigmentation, major discoloration, burns, and tattoos. This light and creamy concealer contains a high concentration of pigments that stay put, making it perfect for use on the face, as well as the body.

This is my favourite texture for a concealer – a thickish liquid, so its easy to blend and doesn’t take too much time to work.

This foundation is great. It does exactly what you want it to do – it covers things like spots and redness really easily and it stays put.

Its also highly concentrated…

….so you only need a little bit.

I would say that whilst this concealer handles most facial blemishes easily, its the sort – because it does set – that can settle a little around the nose crease and if you use it under your eyes, can settle a little into the lines.

So don’t use it for under the eyes.

And now in an ironic example, here it is demonstrated under my eyes:

Tired eyes!

To be honest, even though its thick I think it pats in nicely under the eyes but it still is a tad heavy:

After – remember this is a shade darker than I would usually use under the eye. But you can see how it really smoothes things out.

Its quite a pricey concealer – even so, I am happy to have a waterproof concealer in my collection, thats easy to use and offers full and quick cover.

Heard it’s heavy duty stuff since it’s waterproof…but have you tried it over blemishes/pimples? Do you think it might aggravate the spot? Or just cover it up without making it worse? thanks!
