I had this urge to add a minty sensation lip plumping gloss to my collection and MAC Plushglass was the one i went for. I nearly went for a Ample Pink which is a shimmer-free natural pink but instead I decided to go for something I could wear on top of my regular lipstick. I went for Bountiful in the end which is a sheer medium pink with lots of silver shimmer…
Plushglass is a plumping slightly minty tingly lip gloss which is usually totally not my thang. But hey, I wanted a change!
I do love the Vanilla scent of the lip gloss.
This lip gloss is thick and stays put nicely on the lips – it’s quite thick and sticky so stays put for a long time as far as lip glosses go! It reminds me of the old classic clear lip glass in a tube which as so so so thick but always stayed on forever but was hideous for catching the hair on the lips.
Swatch – Bountiful is not very pigmented which is disappointing. Essentially is a clear slightly pink gloss with a ton of silver sparkles that don’t have much dimension:
This colour is not wearable for me on it’s own – the result is too pale and insipid, I look ill wearing it alone. I need to wear it on top of something else, then it is a long lasting super shiny lip gloss. But alone…no.
This costs £17.50 which makes it one of the dearer MAC lip glosses – I don’t see why it should cost more than a regular lip glass to be honest! In hindsight, I don’t regret buying it but I don’t love it.
