Lunasol releases some limited edition products every spring/summer and since I bought the Ocean Shining Eyes, I decided I needed a matching blusher!

The Cream Cheeks comes in a tube and in three colours – I chose EX03 Light Coral:

They Say:

A cream type cheek color that creates a natural, healthy-looking complexion, as if the skin were naturally blushed with a succulent texture that melts on the skin.

Provides moist texture yet leaves the skin’s surface dry, while the beautiful coloration lasts for hours.

I was concerned it would be too sheer especially as it’s called Light Coral…EX03 Coral is a lovely peachy orange with a bit of gold in it. It has the right amount of pigmented – it’s not too much, not too little and has the right amount of shimmer.

Once it dries it leaves a natural soft finish although I would say that this fades fairly quickly:

It’s like a paler version of Nars Orgasm! It looks quite light on my hand but once it’s on the cheeks it really warms the complexion up.

Spread out on my skin. I am about a NC35 so you can see it shows up a bit. If you are lighter skinned it will look stronger:

To be honest this is like a lot of cream blushers but it has a really nice texture and a natural glow to it. My biggest problem is that it disappears by lunch time so I suggest layering it by using a powder blusher on top.

Verdict:

Really pretty and something I would use all the time in spring and summer because it’s so light. Just be aware they won’t show up on anything darker than NC35 and it is not long lasting. A stain will stay put for longer than this.

For a cheaper and more pigmented cream blush check out these.

the swatch looks nice! shame it didn’t last long though…i swatched this at the lunasol counter and the squeezing tube will easily make out a huge glob, it was a mess, haha!

Don’t you have lovely skin! This is very pretty on you, worth the hassle of a lunch time top up!
