For the next few weeks, I am going to tackle a number of lipstick swatches because you guys seem to like them so much.
First I am going to focus on the NYX lipsticks I own (about 30 of them I think).
Note: All swatches are subjective – this is just how it looks with my lighting and my camera and on my lips.

Kona Coffee (no. 574):
Ok, so with a name like Kona Coffee, this was never going to be for everyone.
Its a highly metallic, space age purple-grey. Remember – this has got to be a special occasion lipstick unless you are related to Bender!

it’s a nay for me. where do I start? Ok, To start with, purpley lipsticks would make any teeth more yellow (you’re lucky you have pearly whites), the association of grey and purple make it soooooooooooooooooo dull ZzzZZzz, like you’ve lost the will to live.

This reminds me of my veeery favourite lipstick back from highschool! It was Avon and silvery-purplish-mauve-corpse-like…..ahh it was so cool back then! But then I lost it and never replaced it… poor lippie still has its corner in my heart *sniff*
