K-Palette are a range that make a lot of ’24 hour’ long lasting eyeliners (pencil, liquid) and they’ve expanded into brow products too. I like brow mascaras as they are effortless to use – my brows are quite full and have enough density to not require colouring in with a pencil or powder, unless I feel like a different look.
I liked the look of this K-Palette Tattoo Lasting Eyebrow Mascara:
I chose Natural Brown which looked like a cool medium brown in the tube.
Here is the brush – it’s looped round so the product collects in the well in the brush and that is enough for application of 2 brows (in my opinion!). It does mean there is quite a lot of product applied, if you ask me, almost a bit too much although it’s a nice idea.
K-Palette products in my experience are extremely long lasting although I’ve usually wiped it off by the 15 hour mark at least! The product is also waterproof, and I did find that once it dried, my brows were not too stiff (just a bit) and it lasted well. Where it got onto my skin, it really was hard to get off!
Natural Brown is actually quite a warm brown – and really too warm for my brows and skin tone! My browns are more blackish but I would never fill them in with black, it’s just too severe. Ew. More on that in a moment.
The other issue I had with this brow mascara is that they’re not like the MAC ones that groom then leave a tint of colour – this is actually quite opaque and colour over your own brows. Does this look natural? Em, no, not for me.
No product:
Product – I mean…no, just no;
I guess if you were to change your hair colour and didn’t want to dye your brows, this is a way to get them match up but no, now unnatural is this effect?!
Would you use a eyebrow ‘dye’ mascara?
