Once I got to about Grade 5 on piano, I started to tackle the work of Debussy (looks simple, but the magic is in the emotion!) and Clair de Lune is one of the pieces I did first, with my heavy handed chords and clumsy right hand.
But readers! I was only 12!
Here is the piece if you are unfamiliar…or maybe you should press play anyway as we continue on with the piece!….
Now, back to make up…
The collection is inspired by the majestic beauty of the Parisian skyline. Boasting
an array of divine hues that will leave you utterly radiant and packaging that is playfully chic, this
collection will undoubtedly give you the je ne sais quoi of a seductively chic Parisian temptress.
There is one product from this collection that’s got me squealing…can you guess what it is:
First the Face & Eye Colours
3 limited edition face and eye colours made with ingredients like Jojoba Oil and Orange Flower Water.

068 Paper Moon:

069 Blue Moon:
Front of Blue Moon:
I think these look gorgeous – the packaging looks like it’s sturdy cardboard to me, so it would be interesting to see how bulky it is.
I think both Blue Moon (avoiding the actual blue) and Paper Moon would work well on the face and eyes. Silvery Moon appeals to me the most cos I love my golds and greys, but I would say so far, Paper Moon seems like the most versatile.
I will also be interesting to see what the texture is like – I like my eye colours soft and mega pigmented, I like my cheek colours to be sheer and not too shimmery – will these meet both requirements?
6 New Pencil Eyeliners:
Carefully created with a blend of White Lily Extract and Grape Seed Oil, these eyeliners glide on smoothly and are waterproof as well as smudge?proof, thus effortlessly taking you from cool days to glamorous nights.
Another look from their website – note they seem to possibly have a sparkly edge here?
I have a few Paul & Joe pencils from previous collections and they are pretty good. I like the fact that these are waterproof, as it happens I am looking for WP pencils for my upcoming holiday! Angel and Aubergine look good to me, what do you think?
Ok so now….the LIPSTICKS!
These are just purrrrrrrfect! Containing Olive and Apricot Seed Oil, these creamy lipsticks have a sparkle and of course…cat heads!
066 Clair de Lune: Soft, romantic pink:
067 Over the Moon: Elegant Orange:
068 Moon Shadow: Exotic Red:
Argh – don’t know if I will be able to bring myself to use these. The ears will be the first to go, right? No one wants an earless cat!
My favourite shade? Elegant Orange although I think Exotic Red looks pretty and wearable too.
The Clair de Lune collection is on sale from the 6th August 2010 at Fenwick and Harrods.
