The final product I tried out from the snazzily named Hissyfit range is this Lip Service lip gloss/balm – with an impressive SPF 50.
It comes in four shades and a clear. Hissyfit’s lip service has shea butter, jojoba oil and vitamin e and like I mentioned earlier, a SPF of 50.
I chose Guava because it looked like a pretty pink. In the flesh its actually more of a sheer red.
This feather-light lip balm with SPF 30+ broad spectrum protection is the perfect skincare and cosmetic product in one.
The luxurious formulation delivers gorgeous glossy coverage while providing long-lasting nourishment to delicate lips and the anti-ageing benefits of very high sun protection.
I think its fab this is a SPF 50 lip product! Impressed by that.
I also think its a natural and highly wearable colour that anyone could use – it made my lips look glossier, feel hydrated and protected them too.
Its not the most unique gloss colour you will ever find but its very much the one to choose if you care about sun damage.
If there is one negative, its that this lip gloss is quite bitter if it gets into your mouth! I have no idea why – if there’s a SPF ingredient or something – but its not a nice one to accidently lick or get into your mouth!
This is about £12 from KLM beauty. (I am not in any way affiliated with this company by the way!)
What do you think? How important is SPF in your make up to you?
