I spotted Pure Cosmetics, a Spanish beauty brand by Carlo Di Roma a few months back at my large Boots store. The price range was drugstore to mid – £14 for a palette, £7-8 for lip colours and blushes. Although it looked bright I had no time to stop and peruse – but now I have a little haul here to show you!

Pure is sold in the UK in Boots (range can be seen here) and in certain Debenhams brands. It’s not the easiest range to find at the moment but you can always buy online.

I tried out the Kajal pencil in black, blush in Apricot and concealer in medium.

The concealer is very liquid, like a liquid eyeshadow type texture:

The medium tone is fine for me but the concealer is quite sheer when blended away. I would suggest this is best for women who already have good skin and might just have patches they want even it out.

Peach blusher – this appears to be matte and its the perfect cheek shade! Peachy but also like a rosy apple and in quite a handy small black compact.

The Kajal crayon is the most interesting product of the whole range! In the spirit of Indian Kohls, this is a creamy, intense black kohl pencil. I have used it a handful of times and I LOVE it. I am going to do a comparison between this and Guerlains more expensive version next, but for now here’s what it looks like:

Do you like the look of Pure or is it just another generic brand?
