If I were to say to someone who was new to Japanese make up, what is a brand that has beautiful quality products that is the most consistent, I would say MAQUillage.
One of the more grown up brands in the Shiseido stable, MAQUillage has been the most consistent of brands that I own. I haven’t bought much from the range lately but then I did a little haul (from adambeauty.com and facial-shop.com. I have been avoiding Ichibankao because its just too expensive).
I got three things:
3D Face Creator in no. 22. This has 5 shades in one and a nice brush.
No 22 is a orange/brown based palette – I considered the pink palette but it seemed too light for my NC35 skintone. Theres the white and cream for highlighting, the warm peach, the nude beige and a very browny shade – great for contouring.
MAQUillage Eyes Creator Palette – now I didn’t realise that all the shades here are cream shadows! This is a limited palette SV832 (Limited Edition). The normal sets have one cream shadow, one cream liner then 3 powder colors. I love cream shadows but I was a bit disappointed that they were all cream. Super sparkly!:
Maquillage Moisture Rouge Sheer Type in RD358:
The best way to describe this lipstick is Dorothy’s-ruby-slippers. Imagine them crushed into a lipstick and this is it! Super sparkly, sheer red – gorgeous colour! It looks like a light glittery lipstick.
I love MAQuillage! Do you?
