Haul: Coffret D’or

The other day, Mr Candy said to me, “I know you know.”

“You know what?”

“I know about your….hauls.” He said to to me which such an ominous dark chill, that for a moment, I felt an icy chill.

Mr Candy stalks me on this blog – infact, he takes care of technical so how could he not find out about my many hauls? If only I could be bothered doing fiddly things myself.

I got a Coffret D’or haul from Adambeauty a week ago:

I got the refillable black eyeliner to replace my Shu Uemura one which had started to fray.

The refill comes in black and brown:

The pen comes in a medium size:

I always found that my previous HG, Shu Uemura’s had a few problems with smooth ink flow, in that it would always need a good shake to get the colour a true black. This one flows much better although it could be because its brand new:

I also have Shiseido’s liquid liner but I don’t find the colour black enough – more of a dark grey. This one is the best refillable liner I have found so far:

I got one of their new Gloss Lasting Rouge’s in Pink – to be honest I ADORE Japanese lipsticks for their super soft, glossy, water like textures but its getting a bit dullsville.

The colour is very sheer and soft, its glossy, its pretty, its nothing new:

PK242 – its the darkest pink they have and it is still sheer:

I also got the control lip base – it covers redness and makes the lips ‘brighter’:

I have tons of lip concealers but some are too dry and others are too oily. This is jolly nice – it takes away pigmentation but is also quite glossy and not too dry. I also like the long stick type applicator.
