Sorry for the lack of posts, but I am more tired that I have ever been before this week…Berroca? Who said Berroca?
Anyway here’s a quick post – a purchase from last week, YSL Rouge Volupte Silky Sensual Radiant Lipstick, number 02 – a warm beige nude:
I’ve reviewed these lipsticks many times before and the packaging is amazing, the texture is gorgeous. I did have a problem with the shades and a lot of the colours didn’t work for me.
But this is a nude – you can’t go wrong with a nude, surely?
Well…this is prettier swatched than on. Its VERY pale. If you have fairer skin I imagine this is quite a hot nude on you. I think it could look nice on a lot of people. On me and my warm olive tone, it borders on the stripper-wag-ho-bag look.
I must have about 10 of these I can’t wear on a daily basis because the shade is a bit off but still I keep buying (Mr Candy bought me one of the new shades from the Spring collection – a pink, which I will swatch later. Now that is gorgeous!).

Hahaha @ stripper-wag-ho-bag. Hilarious! But I’ve yet to try any YSL lipsticks. They’re a bit on the pricey side for me. I’ve heard that their pink lipsticks are gorgeous tho.
