Too much celebrating going on at the moment, because today is Chinese New Year and it’s the Year of the Rabbit! How I wish I was in Asia celebrating!

#alttext#

Traditionally, unmarried folk like myself get money from elders, but as I’ve got older, people are more likely to say “Do you seriously want me to give you some money?” (Yes, mother).

So tell me, will you be celebrating Chinese new year? I usually spend time with my family (as I don’t spend enough with them already!) and see the dragon dance (out of obligation!).

I am a Metal Rooster so…

Here are a few things that are apparently true about me!

Color Preference: Peach, apricot (For blusher and lipsticks, totally)

Gems and Stones: Diamond, Ruby, Topaz (Keep your Ruby and Topaz, it’s diamonds all the way)

Suitable Gifts: Terrarium, walking cane, flask, bonsai tree (Try Make Up, Handbags, Cats)

Hobbies and Pastimes: Fishing, gardening, swimming, hiking, mountain climbing (I hate ALL of those things)

Roosters Dislike: Being made fun of, bad hygiene, impoliteness, unmotivated people (Yes, I do hate ALL of those things, especially unmotivated people, bad hygiene I can overlook as long as I don’t have to sit next to them).

What year are you and do you relate to your animal?!

Gung hei fat choy! Yes,CNY signifies family time, so lots of food, tong yuen etc to be eaten! Might go to the festivities at the weekend if weather cheers up! I’m year of the dog (well, pig really, but I qualify as a dog ‘cos my birthday’s in Jan…it would explain the laziness tho!)

Affectionate, gentle with strong family ties. Caring and hates conflict. Peace-makers with lots of friends. Dislike being the centre of attention and enjoy the good things of life.

Thats a rabbit, and that is so me, apart from the lots of friends lol.
Im also very shy.
