Superdrug is becoming quite a fun and funky place to buy cheap beauty brands and one of the ones I noticed a while ago was BeautyUK.

I was sent a few items to try and one that I really liked for the bargain price of £3.99 was the baked eyeshadow trio.

It comes in 6 shades inspired by nature – green is called Meadow!

These eyeshadows can be used wet or dry – wet for more intensity. I find a lot of ‘baked’ eyeshadows are somewhat hard and a bit difficult to use sometimes. This eyeshadow trio is not exactly soft or mega pigmented to be fair…And yet the finish is quite nice and you can definitely layer this up for a stronger look.

This particular trio, Meadow I think is really nice – there’s a pale highlighter,a medium bold green and a dark grassy green.

Here it is on my eye – you can see it’s not the most pigmented of eyeshadows but it does work – if you are starting out with make up or have a small budget you can get some nice wear out of this.

They sell BeautyUK online and also in Superdrug stores.

OMG your lashes look a-maaaa-zing in the pic!!! Is it the result of the lash serum you’ve been using?

OMG! I’ve just come back from superdrug with a beautyuk gloss. The packaging and texture of the product is defo not budget, and although the colour payoff isn’t great, it feels too yummy for me to care!
