I don’t know how Etude House release all the new make up they do, but it’s very exciting (and difficult to resist). Having said that, I would be lying if I said I have lots of successes with their cosmetics.
I couldn’t resist their new My Blooming Lips Talk range though – there are SO many shades to choose from including ones that are atypical. There’s also Matt and Chiffon textures to choose from. The Chiffon formula is supposed tone a blend of cream and matt; it is thin but pigmented and long lasting.
Shade BE110 is called Waiting Chiffon Beige, a brownish rose. There are two other shades of beige BE108 which is a pale peach beige, BE109 which is somewhere between the two.
The packaging of this lipstick is quite typical – lightweight plastic. It looks cute though.
The colour is nice and quite true to the swatch. It’s a rose with brown and it is pigmented with a creamy finish. It’s not a soft lipstick though – it’s fairly hard actually.
I suppose it is a little bit too brown for my liking if I am honest but if this is the kind of shade you want it’s ideal.
And yet….there’s nothing particularly new about this lipstick that would make me recommend it unless you want a particular shade from the range if that makes sense. There’s nothing that special about the packaging or the formula really but if you like a particulate colour then why not?
These cost around £7 from eBay.
