The Estee Lauder skincare and make up range is huge. HUGE. Much bigger than I realise sometimes – because there are the classics, the favourites that absolutely everyone talks about, there are also lots of other products that aren’t mentioned as frequently.
Now – did you know Estee Lauder has a LOT of eyeliners? There’s the gel pots, the Kajal, the pencil, the black liner, the super noir pencil and now it’s newest release, the Infinite Waterproof Eyeliner. I love eyeliner. I am game to try them out.
This new eyeliner combines some of my favourite elements of a good eyeliner:
1. Lots of colours – I love a colourful eyeliner to brighten up the day.
2. Retractable – where is my eyeliner sharpener? I HAVE NO IDEA.
3. Pigmented and soft but not too soft.
4. Long lasting. No smudes if possible.
The Infinite Waterproof Eyeliner promises 24 hour wear and has a built in sharpener and smudge tip.
I have many many Estee Lauder eyeliners in my collection. This one is my favourite so far. It is a nice combination of texture (not too hard and not too soft) and is pigmented. It works well on my waterline IF my eyes are not having a really watery day (I do have very watery eyes). If not, it works great on my upper lash line. It leaves a pigmented strong line and the colours are elegant but interesting – the dark blue and plum definitely look black with hints of a tint.
I have had all of these in my day to day make up bag (I just pick whatever colour I fancy each day) and I like them because they are long lasting – they pretty much stay there all day and don’t smudge under my eyes. I usually use very creamy eyeliners which I DO adore but they almost always smudge on me a little so its nice to have something that stays put.
If you want something that will tightline easily you might want to try a creamier pencil though although, this one works fine with a few swipes.
