ELF Plumping Lip Glaze: New Colours; Wink Pink, Peach Passion & Fuchsia Fanatic

Another set of new colours from ELF cosmetics. This is one of my favourite lip glosses because I like the way it looks, I like the texture and the overall finish of the lip glazes.

Elf plumping lip glaze comes with two sides; one is a crystal white lip plumper (has that minty smell and feel), the other side is a sheer lip glaze. You can use the sides together or on their own, but the white plumping side is the same in all the glosses.

They Say:

e.l.f. proudly presents a revolutionary lip plumper, infusing Natural ingredients that awaken your senses for fresh, volume enhanced, and moisturized lips. This dual sided Plumping Lip Glaze has a tinted color for a subtle plump or a clear gloss that power plumps your lips, use together and instantly feel the lip enlarging effects!

The three new colours are Wink Pink, Peach Passion and Fuchsia Fanatic. They look like their names in the tubes!

Wink Pink is a sparkle free candy pink, Peach Passion is a sheer peach with a tiny bit of sparkle and Fuchsia Fanatic is a deep cherry/pink with sparkles.

So does the lip plumper work?

So first, my plain lips with nothing on:

The instructions do recommend you use the sides together, the white base underneath.

With the silvery, minty, plumping side on:

It’s nicely minty, not horrible stinging minty. If you don’t like lip plumping products at all, obviously don’t use the silver side – otherwise it’s quite fresh and nice to wear. My lips do look fuller but it’s not madly dramatic I think the fact it’s a silvery white helps!

Now with the colours on top:

Wink Pink:

Sheer; the colours are very sheer. On top of the white as well, there’s bound to be a loss of colour.

Peach Passion:

Quite a natural one this; peach is my favourite colour, ever – this one isn’t that pigmented though but if you are a totally natural gal, you will like this.

Fuchsia Fanatic:

Once again sheer and non scary to wear.

My lips felt quite healthy when wearing this gloss and I do think that whilst it doesn’t give you the collagen effect (ewww to that anyway) it fills out any lines you have and makes your lips look juicy.

The plumping lip glazes are £1.50 each and you can buy them here.
