Aveda Art of Nature Spring 2013 Collection Review Part 2: Hibiscus Petal Essence Face Accent

The blusher or face colour released with the Art of Nature palette is this rather bold number, called Hibiscus. This Petal Essence Face Accent (there are other colours in the range) comprises of three shades to ‘highlight, flush or blush’.

Hibiscus has a pearly light pink, a rose and a bright reddish coral. It’s gorgeous to look at, but part of you thinks…how can I wear this!? Well, read on…

This product has a really nice pearly finish, and is on the pigmented side so a light hand is required if you choose to use the deepest shade as it is quite bright.  I like that the width of the colours is enough for you to run a brush over just one of the colours to use- I have other striped products that are made in a way that makes it almost impossible to use just one of the shades.

Still a bit scared? Three shades blended together with a touch of the coral it makes the most beautiful peachy golden pink blush:

I know! Love! Such a gorgeous colour!

I have a face photo of me wearing this in my next blog post.

Hibiscus is priced at £21.  I love it, I want more colours!

What do you think of Hibiscus…is it too bold or just right?
