Nearly every single retailer I have encountered has been taking off the extra 2.5% off items (due to the VAT rate being cut from 17.5% to 15%). It’s not a huge amount but it’s still something, like the price of a coffee.
Trust HQHair (although I won’t buy from them anymore) to not apply it – everyone else, Selfridges, Boots, Topshop, all the supermarkets, ASOS – everywhere as passed on the saving to the customer. Plus HqHair still have their extortionate shipping charged – I randomly picked a few items and checked out to see if it would apply the discount later but it didn’t, and for 3 nail polishes you are looking at £4.55 shipping, if you want SPECIAL, its an extra £3.50. Excuse me but £4.55 IS the price of special delivery for 3 nail polishes! £8 shipping is unacceptably high for a few polishes.
