I did this huge, huge haul a few weeks ago from the brand 3 Concept Eyes – it’s a Korean fashion brand with a big range of cosmetics and the site is SO MUCH FUN to look at – each product has like, 20 photographs to show you how it looks on a trendy looking model. Everything looks good on these models!
My haul was so big that I will split up the reviews into various posts. I am reviewing the eyeshadows and eyeliners I purchased today.
I chose 3 eyeshadows, two are from the triple colour range and one is from the solo colour range.
Colours left to right: No No No, Body to Body and Saturn.
Unusual colours right? I like how this brand seems to have unusual colours and shades, it’s more creative than a lot of brands around and more daring than a lot of Korean brands.
No No No:
No No No has a light palette lavender grey, a medium plum and a gold with flecks.
I wasn’t bowled over by the texture or pigmentation but it wasn’t bad. I don’t have anything else in my collection like this.
Body to Body:
This is a light palette full orangey peaches and fresh colours. I like this because it’s such a pretty fresh palette unlike anything else I have in my collection and I think light orange/peach looks nice on the eyes.
Once again not extremely pigmented but gives a sheer wash on the lids.
Saturn is a rich metallic berry which I REALLY like – my favourite eyeshadow of the collection actually!
Swatched, it’s a warm reddish tone with pink flecks. It’s also extremely pigmented and smooth to apply.
I also picked up two eyeliners;
04 – Chicago (purple), 07 Cleopatra (burgundy). There’s a nice selection on the website but I liked these two. Chicago is a purple with sparkles and Cleopatra is a sparkle free burnt berry. They are very smooth to swatch but not overly creamy.
I have to say I love the colour of these liners, BUT, they didn’t work well on my waterline, but worked great for just lining the lid, or just under the eye. They are long lasting and pigmented generally.
Heres how I wore the eye colours- Chicago liner under the eye, Cleopatra on the top lids. A mixture of Body to Body as a base and Saturn as the lid colour.
Whenever I apply a colour like a pink or red based one I always think I will look like a scared rabbit – but with the purple I think it’s quite a nice look which which complements browns eyes and will probably make blue eyes stand out too!
I prefer the solo eyeshadow to the trio ones and the liners are very good too, not my favourite but still well worth a look.
