Lips of the Day: Hourglass Cosmetics Lip Gloss Extreme Sheen in Siren

Zuneta kindly sent a few bloggers a little Christmas present, and I received a red lipgloss, or should I say an ‘Extreme Sheen’ is a festive red, called Siren. Here it is on a model: The extreme sheen is a water resistant lip gloss that is long lasting. This particular colour is madly, madly pigmented. This makes it a very beautiful and unique lip gloss to own. The downside is, you ain’t applying this colour […]

Review: Organix Self Heating Coconut Oil

I was sent this Organix Self Heating Coconut Oil hair treatment to test out a while ago. I am all for hair treatments for my dry, dry hair, so was mucho happy to test it out. I like the fact that the Organix range is paraben free and the shampoos are SLS free. Its also quite an affordable range at around £5 or less. This particular product had me because it supposed to be self […]

Review: Skinfood Black Garlic Face Cream

As soon as I heard there was a cream that had ‘Garlic’ in its name I had to buy it. You know what I’m like. Apparently, Black Garlic “improves blood circulation & revitalize fatigue skin. Water-based with non-greasy quick absorption.” Yah, it looks pretty bad. Here is the face cream by Skinfood: According to the Skinfood website, the Black Garlic range works best for Normal – Dry skin. Now, I don’t know why this is […]

Look, don’t touch: Lancome Sparkling Cherub Illuminating Palette

Look what I got my hands on! Lancome’s limited (and largely sold out) Sparkling Cherub palette…technically an illuminator: Inside is a gorgeous palette – it has a beige/light gold outer rim, a bronze in the centre and a small pink heart detail. There is a glitter overspray on the powder, which is just gorgeous but WILL wipe away after a few uses. A closer look…just to admire…. Lancome releases some super pretty face palettes every […]

Tell Me: Why is it so hard to find….

The topic of finding a sticky, clear gloss came up the other day when a reader wanted to know if I had found one to use to stick glitter to my eyes. I had found one (Miss Sporty) but only just. It occurred to me then….some things should exist but are might hard to locate…. For example, here are 3 things I was looking for recently – 1. A clear, non scented, non plumping, sticky […]

Ingrown Hairs? Try Blinc Resurfacing resurf.a.stic

Blinc are better known for their ‘tube’ mascaras that wash off easily but don’t run or smudge. I was surprised to find their ‘stic’ range – three chubby sticks with exfoliating qualities. There’s ‘ingrown’, ‘face’ and ‘body’. I am guessing the difference is the size of the crystals in the stick that vary (you obviously have to be more gentle with the face). I picked up the Ingrown version because I am always trying to […]
