I was suckered in by the pretty pretty packaging of this Aube Couture lipgloss so I made my first purchase from this range, in PK906, the most pigmented and darkest shade of the range.

Aube Couture is a range that is terribly safe – I imagine its a range that would appeal a lot to the average woman – perfect natural shades for work and for a laid back elegant look. A bit boring for me?………………well, yes.

The packaging looks like Aube:

There are lots of little micro sparkles in it:

The doe foot applicator for this brush is really lovely – wide, soft, easy to use. It’s slightly curved too – imagine a ballerina’s En Pointe.

The colour is sheer. Too sheer. The tube shows lots of promise as it looks pigmented but it really isn’t – its a clear ever so slightly pink gloss with lots of micro sparkles in it.

Yes its pretty but its not very original. It’s the perfect safe shade really, but its not a must have really. Nice applicator, nice product but *yawn* nothing new.

You can buy it here.
