Becoming a mother is basically signing up for an intensive course in MULTI-TASKING. You think you can multi task? There’s no multi tasking like parent-multi tasking, yo.
So now I like Multi Tasking beauty products. I guess I always have, but now, more than ever, if I can use minimal products and swipe there, rub it in, la la la, then that’s good enough for me. I already have two bright and bold YSL Kiss and Blush colours and very fine they are too. I now have a new more natural colour to my collection, 03 Rose Libre!
The Baby Doll Kiss & Blush colours are dual use for the lip and cheek (obviously) and have this sort of soft mousse feel even though it’s thicker than that. Pigmentation is good without being too scary (who is always dotting make up on the cheeks and forgetting about it!?) and works pretty well on the lips too – it leaves a nice stain, that i like to put a bit of balm on top off to prevent dryness.
03 Rose Libre is a really pretty neutral cool toned pink. It’s perfect for me, a very wearable colour on the cheeks or lips.
I was worried looking at it in the container that it would be a tad too pale (this happens a lot with Asian blushers) but no worry here, this is pigment in this baby so it does show up even on olive skin tones.
Oh here’s that cool ball applicator again;
Swatch – a true rose:
I have the product on my cheeks and lips. I find it very wearable, I think neutral enough to go with most of my wacky make up choices and it’s also quite long lasting with a shimmer-free finish.
I like! I think I need this product in a berry or a neutral orange too!
