You’ve gotta have a lipstick called Santa – By Cosmetics a la Carte

Whats the perfect name for a Christmas Red Lipstick?

Of course its SANTA!

I like Cosmetics A La Carte a lot, although its not the easiest brand for me to see (they do have an online store though…). They tout this lipstick as a sheer, wearable red for the festive season:

It looks quite dark in the tube, but it is indeed sheerer once applied but not “sheer” if that makes sense. It feels quite rich, it needs a bit of warming to really get going but it is quite a flattering, easy peasy red.

I have of course fallen in love with two other reds, an Armani Red and a Code B red – Santa will be the red a wear on easy shopping days as its more of a smudgy shade and great for the no lipliner required type look.
