Am I going insane? Because when I got these ’new’ Vaseline Intensive Care Spray to review I thought – I have used these before! TIME TRAVEL HAS BEEN INVENTED! WHAT YEAR IS IT! WHAT DRESS SIZE AM I!
But no, once again I didn’t read properly. These are Vaseline INTENSIVE care sprays – they look identical the old ones, hence my confusion! But they are supposed to be extra moisturising.
They come in 3 scents, Cocoa Radiant, Aloe and the Essential Healing that smells like my mum (my mum always uses Vaseline).
I have 2 of the flavours and quite frankly they are extremely similar in terms of texture, they smell different but that’s about it. I do favour the Essential Healing for some reason, scent wise.
The misting action is very good – part of me thought that it might clog up the nozzle and be a pain (like a certain face mask you spray) but so far, it’s been really consistent.
What this is good for is quick application and reaching hard to reach bits like your back. However you still have to rub it in – you can’t just mist and go. It’s also not THAT hydrating – not like smearing yourself in body butter but I for one am super limited on time, and find moisturising the body incredibly dull so for me – using this is undoubtedly better than not using anything because I can’t be bothered. It also sinks in fast and theres no horrible residue.
These are usually £5.99 but are currently on offer for £2.99 at Boots. If you are in a rush or lazy with traditional moisturisers then this is more than worth a try.
