Midnight Mist from the Too Faced Exotic Color Intense shadows is a deep rich blue with fine silvery shimmer:
From another angle it actually looks purple:
This kind of shade is 100% up my street. Rich, pigmented, smoky, interesting. Swatch:
Ok, so what do we think about the swatch? It’s pants. Absolute pants.
With a good rub, a minute amount of pigment comes off. The swatch above is what I’d expect from a £2 eyeshadow. It should be far richer, creamier, more pigmented. Instead there’s this really pathetic purple-blue sheer colour left…not worth purchasing at all. How did hey end up with such a dud in this otherwise gorgeous collection?

Ahhh such a pity! This is the type of color I would normally die to have! It’s so hard to find a good purple!
