I saw these eyeshadows by Japanese brand Naris Up on eBay. What really interested me was the fact that the shadows have different guides on them to show you how to apply!
I got two of the colour variations, black and green.
This is the green:

How to apply guides on the back:
The green variation, three shades and a super glittery gel, which is actually so dry it feels like a powder:
In terms of pigment, this is medium. Its not unpigmented but its not buttery soft either. However – it makes things a little easier to control in that you get a nice, understated effect that is buildable.
The black variation:
Gorgeous!:
The guides are on the back again:
The guides are pretty clear:
The black variation is very dramatic and has a mid fawn brown which is quite unusual in a black themed palette:

Eyeshadows with application guides – a good idea?

Oooh! I quite like the application guide things – espesh. the black version. Would be handy to peep at in the mornings when you’re sorto half drained and half confused in the morning doing your makeup.. eyeshadow inspiration! Woo! xx
Hey Jools! The black version is the most pigmented and my fav! its amazing what you can do with one palette because obvously we are all so used to applying make up our own way
