Shiseido Integrate Be Happy with the power of Mineral Liquid Foundation Review

Shiseido-Integrate-Power-of-Mineral-Foundatio-OC30.jpg

Tweet Japanese brands seem to be experimenting more with ‘mineral’ make up and I thought it was rather groovy to see Shisedo’s Integrate brand releasing a liquid mineral foundation! They also do a powder mineral foundation and a mineral base. I’ve tried the powder foundation and found it no different to standard powder foundation in texture. Integrate’s mineral range is curiously called ‘Be happy with the power of Mineral’ (see more silly names here) which may’ve been better named ‘Be {Read More}

Shiseido Maquillage Essence Cover Compact UV Foundation in OC30 Review!

MAQUILLAGE-MOISTURE-FORMING-FOUNDATION-.jpg

Tweet Not brand new, but relatively new is MAQUillage’s Essence Cover Compact UV Foundation SPF24. I have a soft spot for compact cream foundations because I think they’re so quick and handy to use, but the majority are pretty lame- they don’t seem to last long even on my dry skin and bunch up on oily areas. MAQUillage’s OC30 is almost the right shade for me. It’s slightly – just SLIGHTLY ashy. As long as I don’t use too much {Read More}

Shiseido MAQUillage Rouge Enamel Glamour Long Lasting Lip Colour OR242, PK243 Review!

MAQUillage-Rouge-Enamel-Glamour-.jpg

Tweet Shiseido’s MAQUillage launched the Rouge Enamel Glamour a while ago. It is a long lasting lip colour, with a lip stain on one side and a gloss on the other. MAQUillage lip products generally speaking are very strong – it is one of the best products the brand makes. This dual ended long lasting type product is rarer on the Japanese market (where everything is so sheer and watery!) so I thought it would be a nice change to {Read More}

Light but rich! Shiseido Hada Senka Moisturizing Cream Lotion Review

Shiseido-Hada-Senka.jpg

Tweet Shiseido Hada Senka caught my eye even though I have no idea if it’s supposed to be a hydrating lotion toner or a moisturiser. I have been using it as a moisturiser and it comes in two formulas, normal and rich for drier complexions. The pink lidded one is rich. This lotion contains hyaluronic acid and royal jelly. It’s a runny clear liquid without colour or fragrance. It’s not as runny as water, it’s more like a heated syrup. {Read More}

Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Color Trio in BL310 Punky Blues & Lipstick in Alabaster BE702

Shiseido-Shimmering-Ouge-Lipstick-Luminizing-Sating-Blue-Denims.jpg

Tweet Sigh sigh sigh sigh sigh. Those are contented sighs. Shiseido’s Spring offerings well and truly caught my attention (and trust me, it’s getting harder these days) and I think the new packaging (boxes and cases) and formulas are lovely. Evolve or die. I have two pretty products to show you from the collection, the Luminizing Satin Eye Colour Trio in Punky Blues BL310 and Shimmering Rouge Lipstick in Alabaster. Punky Blues is such a fun, gorgeous palette! I love {Read More}

Shiseido The Makeup Mascara Base VS. Shiseido Nourishing Lash Primer Comparison

Shiseido-Mascara-base-Primer-Nourishing.jpg

Tweet I mentioned earlier today that Shiseido discontinued their highly popular and fabulous Mascara Base for a new formula, the Nourishing Lash Primer. The conclusion is that the nourishing primer does do a good job so dry your tears; we haven’t been given a dud in replacement! I’m going to do a quick comparison for other Shiseido mascara base fans. The two tubes: The older mascara base came in quite a heavy weight tube but the later one became somewhat {Read More}

Shiseido Nourishing Mascara Base Review – The best primer on the market?

Shiseido-Nourishing-Mascara-Base-Primer.jpg

Tweet I’m not usually one for worrying when a product is discontinued; there’s always an alternative out there but I did nearly keel over when I found out that my beloved Shiseido mascara base had been replaced by a new formula; the Nourishing Mascara Base: Shiseido Mascara Base, the original, was simple the best lash primer – ever. It held curl perfectly and you could match it with the worst mascara ever and it would still be amazing. Nourishing mascara {Read More}

Lips of the Day: Shiseido Shimmering Rouge Lipstick in PK407 Stiletto

Shiseido-Spring_Summer-2011-Makeup-lipstick-Collection.jpg

Tweet Needless to say, with all the make up that I see and play with there’s not much on your average make up counter that gets me excited, but when I saw the new Shiseido spring collection, I was just coo-ing (see the colours at the end of the post!). Alas I was dragged away from the counter by Mr C, something about ‘having too many lipsticks’. Amazingly enough, he presented me one evening with the one my heart desired {Read More}
