Edward-Bess-Deep-Shine-Lip-Gloss-in-First-Kiss-Review.jpg

Tweet Edward Bess is a brand I have heard lots of positive things about but had not yet got round to testing (I bought some lipsticks in their old packaging to try but surprise surprise, I’ve not had a chance to use them yet!) so it was a nice treat to get one of their Deep Shine Lip Glosses in a little goody box I was given.  They say; This light capturing lip gloss has a unique formula which delivers {Read More}

With a name like Shiseido Fullmake Washable Base leaves you guessing as to what {Read More}

Bums and Nipples: Kamillosan Chamomile Ointment Review

Kamillosan-Chamomile-Ointment-Review.jpg

Tweet Baby H has been suffering from eczema so aside from a few things from the Dr, I have been trying different creams and ointments to see what works best for him.  So far in my experience, the simpler the better.  One of the creams I heard about which is supposed to be multi purpose and good for skin conditions, nipples and nappy rash is Kamillosan Ointment, made with Chamomile Extract: As a breastfeeding mum, I can confirm that one {Read More}

Heroine Make Volume and Curl Mascara Review

Heroine-Make-Volume-and-Curl-Mascara-Review-.jpg

Tweet Heroine Make is a classic Japanese mascara; the range itself is known for it’s excellent eyeliners and their Impact Frame mascara is excellent. However, the other mascara’s in their range is the Volume and Curl and Long and Curl range which is very popular.  In the new packaging (the old one was a dark burgundy with gold lettering): I chose Volume and Curl to try – I was getting fed up of using mascara that didn’t hold curl.

Inika-Creme-Eye-Shadow-and-Creme-Colour-for-Cheeks-Lips-Review.jpg

Tweet Inika is a beauty range known for it’s organic beauty products (most well known perhaps it’s mineral liquid and powder foundations) and they have very recently launched some organic creme cosmetics to add to the collection! There are two Creme Eye Shadows (£18) in Cappuccino and Champagne, then two Creme Colour colours for cheeks and lips (£22) in Dusty Rose and Rosehip.  The range is quite small to begin with although the colours they’ve created are very neutral and {Read More}

Surprisingly wearable palette of the day: Estée Lauder Pretty Naughty Five Colour Eyeshadow Palette Review

Estee-Lauder-Pretty-Naughty-Five-Colour-Eyeshadow-Palette-Review.jpg

Tweet Spring make up collections tend to be somewhat pastel based and shimmery; this is fine if you like pastel based and shimmer but sometimes these colours can feel quite – to quite my 12 year old cousin – blah.  My first thoughts when seeing the Estée Lauder Pretty Naughty Five Colour Eyeshadow Palette was not ‘blah’, rather ‘eh?’.  The limited edition palette from Estée Lauder from the ‘Pretty Naughty’ collection is very playful but also quite unusual in its compilation… Here {Read More}

Rimmel-Apocalips-Lip-Lacquer-in-Luna-Celestial-and-Nova-Review-and-Swatches-2

Tweet Sometimes a new beauty product comes out and everyone starts raving about how wonderful it is – so much so that although I wasn’t actually that interested in Rimmel’s new Apocalips Lip Lacquer release, I decided that a good beauty blogger would make an effort to review these regardless. So here they are! There was a 3 for 2 on at Boots so I chose three colours.  They had around 5 shades to chose from, not the full 8, {Read More}

Touch in Sol; I’ll Get You Lip Stain and Solid Duo Gel Eyeliner Review

Touch-in-Sol-I_ll-Get-You-Lip-Stain-and-Solid-Duo-Gel-Eyeliner-Review

Tweet It’s always very interesting to get a selection of products from a new brand (as in, new to me!) as there are no preconceptions about the products. Touch in Sol (‘a touch of sunshine and solutions’) is a bit of Konglish (Korean-English) is a Korean manufactured and designed brand currently sold in Korea and in the US. I was sent a selection products to try so I’ll review them over the next few weeks. First up is the Gel {Read More}
