I’m going through my relatively small nail polish collection and photographing my favourite shades. This week is Oranges! Ok ok. So you may say that Barielle Polish in Blossom is not quite an orange, more of a soft peach. I guess it is but it’s SOOOOO pretty. I love. Barielle as always, is a slightly thicker polish and it takes me a bit longer to apply it smoothly but once it’s on, it does seem […]
Barbarella, a great name for a lipstick, is Nars’ Perfect Peach in the Sheer Formula. For this reason, I can wear this colour quite comfortably, more so that the Semi-Matte range or the Matte, which is significantly more drying. I forget how sheer this actually is, because I’m so used to Nars being madly pigmented. Two light coats on the lips equals: Not as unique as in the tube but nevertheless a pretty wearable colour. […]
Kevin Beautymaker is fast becoming one of my favourite brands – the cosmetics are more hit than miss, the prices are fine. I bought this super cute Pu Pu Cheek Blush after seeing the case it came in – its got a Hello Kitty bow on the front! It also comes in a soft pink. This blusher is lightweight and has a soft, blendable texture. How adorable is this domed tin it comes in? Reminds […]

The nice people at Barry M sent me one of their new blushers to try – there are 6 in the range and I chose Apricot since I love my peaches. The other shades are quite self explanatory colours – Pink Orchid (lightest pink), Rose, Strawberry, Terracotta and Raspberry. Barry M make great loose eyeshadows and lipsticks, especially for the price. Are they any good at blush? Firstly – Packaging Shall we just get the […]
Its been said that even in a recession, women will continue buying lipsticks, because they are give a quick instant boost for not too much moolah. I had that down in the dumps feeling the other week and decided I needed that boost, except my lipstick of choice was a rather pricey one at £20.50. I have reviewed YSL Rouge Volupte before and its gone a little Pete Tong. But it’s so sexy, isn’t it?…..
I present to you three perfect, peachy golden blushers for the dying summer that suit a large range of skin tones. Dare I say it – they are all similar to the mighty Nars Orgasm with their own little spin. Pure blusher in Peach (£7.83), The Balm Blush (also for eyes) (£15) Hot Mama! and Daniel Sandler Mineral Blusher (£10.50) in Coral Sun. Click see more to see the swatches –
I went mad a while ago and bought a ton of Skinfood make up which is hit and miss. I can’t question their sheer variety of goodies though. The Peach Sake range is one of the more talked about, coveted ranges. I can see why – it smells lovely and works quite well. The peach range is especially for pore care, and sebum control – thus removing oilies and tightening the pores. The Ice Mist […]
