Review: Bloom Liquid Lipstick & Lip Gloss

Bloom-Liquid-Lipstick-Rouge-Liquide-Lily-Lip-Gloss.jpg

A few weeks ago I picked up these two liquid lipsticks from Bloom. I have a thing for creamy, pigmented lip colours! I got these two shades which are pretty natural beauties – Lily and Jasmine. The packaging looks like that. Rather pretty, rather non offensive. The liquid lipstick is just what it says on the tin – a creamy, hydrating rich sheer lipstick. In Lily: In Jasmine: The applicator is a soft foam:

For Straggly Nails: Botanicals Natural Cuticle Oil Review

botanics-organic-cuticle-oil.jpg

Dry cuticles? I haz dem. The problem is though, I am so lazy when it comes to my nails. They grow fast, they grow strong…so therefore I don’t pay them much attention. On top of this, I don’t actually know proper cuticle care is, aside from using a bit of oil. Whenever I’ve had a manicure its always been a massive disaster – my nails do not like being trimmed or pushed back. Really. So […]

Pucker Up: Lush Sweet Lips Lip Scrub Review

Lip-Scrub-Sugar-Lush.jpg

Flaky, dry lips are the bane of my life, and although I have lots and lots of glorious lip balms I’m really not one for reapplying make up during the day unless I have a giant day glo spot which needs more concealer. I think Sarah Happ’s lip scrub is ok. I have a few other lip scrubs are ok, I haven’t found one what I totally love yet. Enter Lush’s new Sweet Lips Lip […]

Halo-Lotion.jpg

There’s an awful lorra sensitive skinned folks in my family. Eczema, Psoriasis etc. We all have a lot of dry flaky skin going about so much so that my aunts house looks like a pharmacy. So I am always up to test creams made for sensitive skin. Halo is a face cream – its light, its free from colour, scent and parabens. You also get 100ml of it so to be honest, I use it […]

Review: Decleor Aromessence Essential Night Balm is rather good

decleor-aromaessence-essentail-balm-visage.jpg

I went through a bit of a Decleor phase after my first proper Spa visit, and *in a dumb and dumber voice* I like it a lot. But I haven’t committed to the whole skincare range. Are you mad? I’ve got plenty to go through first! Nevertheless, I picked up this Decleor Essential Balm which is a night treatment, 100% natural and preservative free. Comes in a rather tiny 15ml pot and a lurid yellow […]

Supermarket Find: Indian Amla Powder and Multani Cleanser!

multani-mati.jpg

I was in Asda a few months ago*, a large British Supermarket which is tailored towards the clinically insane when I spotted these rather cool looking products. *yeah…slight blog backlog Thing is, Supermarket stock changes from store to store depending on the area its in. In this case, I was in an area with a large Asian* community so I noticed a whole host of interesting food and also a beauty section with things like […]

Dr Bronner’s Organic Body/Tattoo Balm and Lip Balm

dr-bronner-organic-balm-.jpg

I like Dr Bronner product quite a lot – I bought some of his Magic Soap a while ago and it was pretty cool (its a liquid soap that can be used for all kinds of things – body wash, shampoo, face wash, hand wash etc.) Its basically Castile soap (made with Olive Oil)…its not very easy to make yourself but maybe one day I’ll teach you how… Anyway here is the Dr Bronner Organic […]

Review: Quash Moisturising Hand Sanitiser with Kimchi!

I was sent a bottle of this Quash Moisturising Hand Sanitiser to try out a few weeks ago. Incase I didn’t tell you, I am pathetically addicted to Hand Santisers or Antibacterial Hand Gels. Love. Them. When the swine flu “thing” was all the rage, they handed out Cussons Hand Gel out at work, and I was first in the queue. I have random bottles of this stuff in all my handbags, on my desk […]
