Totally Multi Use Balm and Oil? Etude House Any Oil Mist 21 and Any Balm 21 Review

Etude-House-Any-Oil-Mist-Any-Balm-21-.jpg

Tweet I’ve never really been too interested in body wash or body moisturisers until recently; now I appreciate a really nice smelling, hydrating wash and some lovely body moisturiser too.  I like body oils because they appeal to how lazy I am – anything that takes ages to rub and sink in annoys me! Etude House Any Oil 21is called this because has ’21 recommended uses’.  I am sure at a stretch you can think of a few more! With {Read More}

Collagen Skincare? SANA Hadanomy Collagen Cleansing Gel and Collagen Cream Review

Collagen-Skincare-SANA-Hadanomy-Collagen-Cleansing-Gel-and-Collagen-Cream-Review.jpg

Tweet Hallo, hallo, hallo! How glad am I that it’s finally Friday. It has been an extremely long week! One thing I have been keen on doing this week is trying different skincare out because of my increasingly spotty but also sensitive skin.  In this case I am thinking that simple is better. I know my skin can’t handle too many anti-aging or active ingredients.  SANA Hadanomy Collagen skincare has been around for a while now, and it’s in that {Read More}

Cold Weather, Chapped Skin! Etude House Aloe Moistfull Soothing Gel Review

Etude-House-Aloe-Moistfull-Soothing-Gel-.jpg

Tweet One of Etude House’s most popular range is the Moistfull (two L’s) range, which is supposed to be super hydrating for dry skins. The Moistfull range encompasses skincare and cosmetics.  I recently spotted this Aloe Soothing Gel, part of the Aloe Moistfull range which is packaged in green (the rest of the regular range is in peach coloured packaging).  I am all for hydrating gels because I just cannot bear to have cream on the surface of my skin {Read More}

Apples and Pears, Apple and Pears: Skinfood Soothing Pear Body Gel Review

Skinfood-Soothing-Pear-Body-Gel-Review.jpg

Tweet I lied to you, there are no apples in this body gel from Skinfood; it is all pears. As I write this I am dreaming about a pear tart with some chocolate on top. Yum! Pears are nice I think, especially squishy ones and it’s a very inoffensive scent, one that I am quite fond of really. Skinfood has a selection of Body Gels, in other unusual flavours like Quinoa! I am really lazy when using body moisturisers, my {Read More}

Move over Kermit: Naris Up Frogtime Moisture Veil Mist Review

Naris-Up-Frogtime-Moisture-Veil-Mist-1.jpg

Tweet If I were thinking of the name of a skincare product, which had to have the word, ‘time’ in it, I’d think of a few things, like ‘Peachy-time’ or ‘Lovely-time’ but it wouldn’t really occur to me to call it Frogtime. But that’s why I love Japanese beauty products and their zany names!  Naris Up’s Frogtime range consists of only a few products such as this moisture mist and some sun screen. It could be that it’s aimed at {Read More}

Origins VitaZing Energy Boosting Moisturizer with Mangosteen Review

Origins-Vitazing-SPF-15-Cream.jpg

Tweet Although I am halfway through trialling skincare from one particular brand at the moment, it doesn’t mean I don’t sometimes deviate and use somewhat…quicker, easier products like, tinted moisturisers or 2 in 1 eye creams and concealers. Some days, speed is of the essence. Origins VitaZing SPF 15 Energy-boosting moisturizer with Mangosteen (I LOVE mangosteen, probably one of my favourite fruits) is a fruity smelling, light textured, hydrating day cream that borders on tinter moisturiser but offers minimal coverage, {Read More}

Light but rich! Shiseido Hada Senka Moisturizing Cream Lotion Review

Shiseido-Hada-Senka.jpg

Tweet Shiseido Hada Senka caught my eye even though I have no idea if it’s supposed to be a hydrating lotion toner or a moisturiser. I have been using it as a moisturiser and it comes in two formulas, normal and rich for drier complexions. The pink lidded one is rich. This lotion contains hyaluronic acid and royal jelly. It’s a runny clear liquid without colour or fragrance. It’s not as runny as water, it’s more like a heated syrup. {Read More}
