I bow to Shiseido: MAQuillage Lighting White Powdery UV Foundation Review

MAQUillage-Lighting-White-Powdery-UV-Foundation-.jpg

Tweet I have a serious foundation problem.  There I said it. I can’t stop hauling foundations; cream, stick, powder, gel… It was MAQUillage’s extremely pretty packaging that made me pay attention to their newest foundation release (and they are always releasing new base products for the different seasons) – Lighting White Powdery UV Foundation. Don’t expect the names of a lot of Japanese beauty products to make perfect sense – sometimes they just don’t. I don’t even like powder foundation! {Read More}

Shiseido Maquillage Essence Cover Compact UV Foundation in OC30 Review!

MAQUILLAGE-MOISTURE-FORMING-FOUNDATION-.jpg

Tweet Not brand new, but relatively new is MAQUillage’s Essence Cover Compact UV Foundation SPF24. I have a soft spot for compact cream foundations because I think they’re so quick and handy to use, but the majority are pretty lame- they don’t seem to last long even on my dry skin and bunch up on oily areas. MAQUillage’s OC30 is almost the right shade for me. It’s slightly – just SLIGHTLY ashy. As long as I don’t use too much {Read More}

Shiseido MAQUillage Rouge Enamel Glamour Long Lasting Lip Colour OR242, PK243 Review!

MAQUillage-Rouge-Enamel-Glamour-.jpg

Tweet Shiseido’s MAQUillage launched the Rouge Enamel Glamour a while ago. It is a long lasting lip colour, with a lip stain on one side and a gloss on the other. MAQUillage lip products generally speaking are very strong – it is one of the best products the brand makes. This dual ended long lasting type product is rarer on the Japanese market (where everything is so sheer and watery!) so I thought it would be a nice change to {Read More}

Foundation Stick! MAQUillage Lasting Stick Foundation UV Review

MAQUillage-Lasting-Stick-Foundation-YV-Shiseido.jpg

Tweet I have a massive soft spot for MAQUillage base products and lip products – always such good quality. My latest purchase was the Maquillage Stick Foundation – eek. With the current exchange rate I paid almost £29 for this – not cheap at all. Nevertheless here it is on the model: Gorgeous visual, I love the beady thing on her head… Here is the foundation stick. Another thing I like about MAQUillage is that its provides for slightly darker {Read More}

Review: Shiseido MAQUillage Perfect Lip Gloss from Alexander Wang

Tweet Shiseido’s MAQUillage range must make the most consistently stunning lipsticks and glosses, ever. It took me a while to get my paws on their newest gloss, the Perfect Lipgloss, because the exchange rate is so poor. In the end it cost me something like £16. The Perfect Lipgloss is supposed to be transfer resistant (hence the model is holding a disposable coffee cup….makes no sense, I know). Four of the shades are from the Alexander Wang collection (Limited Edition) {Read More}

Daily Beauty: Alexander Wang for MAQUillage Lipstick

Tweet Of the masses of post I got last week, here is something that just gave me make up judders! My very expensive (About £20 after exchange rate conversion) lipstick from MAQUillage – the limited edition Alexander Wang lipstick: What lies inside this slick, matte case? See after the jump!

Never thought I’d be so happy to see a Wang…

Tweet An Alexander Wang that is – fabulous designer in collaboration with MAQUillage for Fall 2009. Do I need this? *nod nod*

Haul: MAQuillage Make Up

Tweet If I were to say to someone who was new to Japanese make up, what is a brand that has beautiful quality products that is the most consistent, I would say MAQUillage. One of the more grown up brands in the Shiseido stable, MAQUillage has been the most consistent of brands that I own. I haven’t bought much from the range lately but then I did a little haul (from adambeauty.com and facial-shop.com. I have been avoiding Ichibankao because {Read More}
