Many ladies in the know tell me their all time favourite Japanese mascara comes from Majolica Majorca – their mascara’s are extremely long lasting and are usually very dark and lengthening. I personally found that their mascara’s didn’t hold curl until I tried their last release, Lash King (I thought I reviewed this but I can’t find the review so I concur that I am seriously going mad…). I quite enjoyed that mascara however the […]
The Majolica Majorca Holiday 2012 make up collection was relatively small; it consisted of one perfume, 2 liners, 2 polishes, a hand cream and 4 cream blushers. The cream blushers caught my eye as I love cream textures! In everything! These looks like nail polishes, but no, they are strictly for the cheeks. The shades are: RD310, RD411, and the two I purchased, PK312, OR313: Shell Pink Cream and Custard Cream (pink and orange). My […]
Majolica Majorca have a cute collection of nail polishes that are very affordable , although the bottles are quite dinky in comparison to some Western brands. They Speedy & Glossy range were on sale recently, so I picked up 4 new colours from adambeauty.com. Pinks…I am really into pink at the moment! Hot pinks and bright pinks! Here they are: I think I paid about £3-£4 each for these? What I do like about them […]
I love my black eyeliner and black mascara – I really, really do, but there comes a day when you look in the mirror and: Yeah – you’ve morphed into a panda and you don’t know how or why. Sigh. I’ve been using brown eyeliner more for day time and it’s so pretty! Far more wearable, especially for the office. Majolica Majorca Cream Pencil is one of my favourite pencils at the moment – it’s […]
I haven’t bought Majolica Majorca in a long time; their products are quite average for me despite being packaged so beautifully, but I couldn’t resist this gorgeous limited edition Sugary Trap collection and this pale green compact which houses the Pressed Pore Cover Powder. They say: Reveal soft white, translucent powder that minimises enlarged pores to give skin a flawless and polished finish. Using the flocked sponge, apply Pressed Pore Cover Powder on nose, cheeks […]
Majolica Majorca’s lastest collection is called Sugary Trap; it’s all about the sugary cookie look! I haven’t bought MJ in ages -unlike most people I can’t stand their mascara and I find the eyeshadows dull although visually the range is beautiful as is their website: Sugary Trap totally captured my heart this time though! Maybe it’s something about the colours all look delicious (I purchased 4 items in the end – I’m a bit bitter […]
Release last year as part of their Winter collection, I ignored Majolica Majorca’s Majoromantica Perfume until now because: a. I couldn’t find it anywhere (it’s Limited Edition) b. It has a stupid name. I caved and found a few good sellers on eBay and lo and behold, here is my pretty Majoromantica! To be honest whilst I like MJ I have more misses than hits with this brand, I think KATE and Lavshuca is stronger […]
I’m going through my relatively small nail polish collection and photographing my favourite shades. This week is Orange! I have already reviewed the Majolica Majorca Speedy Polishes and I think they are excellent – easy to apply and yes, they do dry very quickly indeed! The colours are beautiful too. Just one thing – it’s quite a small bottle for you polish addicts out there! Not a problem for me because I don’t wear polish […]
I blame this lady for my sudden interest in Nail Polish – why? Because it’s easier that way! I recently bought three polishes from Majolica Majorca’s new Speedy & Glossy Nail Polish range. I’ve owned MJ polishes before so I know that they come in dinky containers, ever so cute, and in glittery, sheer, pastel shades…most of the time. So I was pleased to see there was a bit more pigment in these polishes: I […]
It must be catch up week at Cosmetic Candy (not had a chance to photograph new items arriving this week – I have been working on videos and general administration!) because I found these photos I had taken of Majolica Majorca’s latest mascara and lash base: Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Volume On Mascara and the Lash Bone Black Fiber Base. Yep…Japanese make up have interesting names. Majolica Majorca belongs to Shiseido, and it one […]
I’ve had this post lingering for months and months and finally decided to finish it! Majolica Majorca makes a range of Jewelling Eye Pencils – shorter than average eye pencils usually with a hint of glitter – however they are slightly scratchy. There were three newish shades launched last year, in a cream, green and burgundy brown. I picked up the green in GR522 a ossy green with silver glitter: As mentioned above, its a […]

Majolica Majorca’s Autumn 2009 collection, Fairy Sadistic *giggles* also has a set of new liquid eyeliners to match. Good. Previous Majolica Majorca liquid eyeliners have not been my cup of tea – too unpigmented, too watery. This new release consists of 7 shades of blackened eyeliners: I bought two, the GR604 Green and GD802 Gold. One day I’ll get rund to buying BL603 and RD605. Eye, eye! Read more after the jump!
Shiseido’s Majolica Majorca must have one of the most innovative and beautiful websites I have ever seen – every season they design a interactive flash site with a new look and idea. Gorgeous, gorgeous. And all for some new make up. Majolica Majorca hasn’t won me over in a while and calling a collection ‘Fairy Sadistic’ doesn’t help. But I indulged anyway in three affordable glosses, their new blusher, the honey essence treatment and two […]
There’s nothing I love more than juicy juicy oranges for the lips. It looks great with a tan, especially with a little sparkle. NYX Round Gloss in Apricot – I like these glosses a lot but they packaging is shiteous. Of the 12 NYX glosses I have HALF of them are damaged (the cap in the tube which stops too much product coming out comes loose). The gloss itself is nice though: Majex by Majolica […]
I have tried so many mascaras…I am getting Mascara fatigue. It’s true. I still don’t have a HG. I still don’t have the fail proof mascara. I have found ones that last and curl but are a buggery to get off – that’s the best I can do at the moment* (Although I have something coming in the post which will either be a HUGE disappointment or absolutely amazing. Will let you know as soon […]
I get excited whenever Adam Beauty gets new stuff in cos it takes SO LONG sometimes for him to update. There’s some new goodies there but the exchange rate is at all time low so I will have to be extremely restrained. We have the: Limited Edition Gorgeous Wing Mascara in BR777 a golden brown! I’ve been waiting to try this mascara out but never gave in, I do feel like getting one of these […]
It feels like a life time ago since Majolica Majorca released the Frozen Princess range. I love the Majolica Majorca website. Each time they use a cardboard 2D style picturebook, in a stop motion animation style. The amount of work that goes into it, the music, the design in incredible. Anyway – the actual products I bought were the two eyeshadow sets: One is a white/silver palette that is very light, the other is a […]
