Holika Holika Enamel Magic Melomovie Gel Eyeliner in Pink & Purple Review

Holika-Holika-Enamel-Magic-Melomovie-Gel-Eyeliner-in-Pink-Purple-Review.jpg

Tweet I’ve tried a few things from the extremely cute Holika Holika brand, and I’ve found their skincare is stronger than their cosmetics. Nevertheless I tried their cute Melomovie Gel Eyeliners because I love gel liners and there were 2 unusual colours I don’t already own (purple and hot pink). Packaging – (quite inconsistent with Holika Holika, some items are witchy, some are retro): The jars are cute, with the gel liners in a tub and the applicator brush attached {Read More}

All in One! Etude House Soft Touch Shadow and Liner Review and Swatches

Etude-House-Soft-Touch-Eyeshadow-1.jpg

Tweet I am always looking out for new releases from Etude House and I spotted these cool Shadow Liners a few weeks ago (took forever to arrive!). These are dual use products, both eyeshadows and liners. I’d say it’d also work beautifully as a base! I bought two, 01 which is a nude beige and 04 which is a charcoal grey. They come in plain not very inspiring plastic pots: You know what I’m like, buy everything in two’s! The {Read More}

Foundation and Concealer in One! Laneige Snow Crystal Dual Foundation SPF22 Review

Laneige-Snow-Crystal-Dual-Foundation-.jpg

Tweet I purchased this Laneige Snow Crystal Dual Foundation a few weeks ago because I loved the idea of having a 2 in 1 product – see this has a liquid foundation and concealer in the same pot! Packaging: Another reason I bought this was because it came in a ‘darker’ shade (by Korean standards!) in a shade 33 – which is supposed to be quite a tan hue. Laneige is a pretty decent Korean brand – it’s higher end {Read More}

Eyeliner Week No. 5: Laneige Multi Shaping Eyeliner Gel & Powder Liner Review

Laneige-Multi-Shaping-eyeliner-gel-powder.jpg

Tweet Welcome to a full week of eyeliner reviews from my latest finds from March 2011! Each review will be number 1 – 7. I really like Laneige, a mid to high end Korean beauty brand. Their skincare is great and I’ve had mixed results from the cosmetics. This Multi Shaping Eyeliner caught my eye because it’s a 3 in 1. This has a gel liner in the bottom and two powder liners on the top, sparkly and matte. You {Read More}

Baviphat Mango Magic Brightening Face Mask Review

Mango-Face-Mask-Tony-Moly-.jpg

Tweet Baviphat is a Korean brand which has lots of unusual skincare and make up products. I bought some skincare from them recently which comes in very cute packaging in the shape of the fruit or vegetable it is named after! Mango Magic Brightening Face Mask comes in a not very mango looking pot: It looks more like a deformed orange. They say: A special treatment mask with microscopic oxygen bubbles effectively purifies skin by removing dirt and oil trapped {Read More}

Tweet Etude House’s newest collection is Miss Tangerine and from the instant I saw it I was IN. LOVE. For one thing I love orange make up. I love that Etude House has been brave and created a vast range (lip gloss, lip stick, blusher, eyeshadow, tints, nail polish) all in the orange hue. It certainly looks like it’ll be a big trend this Spring/Summer. So I’ll have quite a few Miss Tangerine reviews coming up! Here is a promo {Read More}

Haul: Holika Holika Fairy Bakery Muffin Eye Shadow Review!

Holika-Holika-Fairy-Bakery-Muffin-Cookie-Shadow-.jpg

Tweet Holika Holika! It’s a Korean brand, it is super cute so expect a lot more appearances from the brand on the blog! I bought two of these Fairy Bakery Muffin Eye Shadows (what a mouthful!). These eyeshadows have two sides, and both sides are marbled. I like these kinds of eyeshadows – I still think Too Faced Galaxy ones are the best. I picked two: The packaging is not bad, nothing extraordinary. Here are the shades:
