Eyeliner Week No. 2: Naris Up Wink Up Kuromegachi Eyeliner Review

Naris-Up-Eyeliner-Black-Kuromegachi.jpg

Tweet Welcome to a full week of eyeliner reviews from my latest finds from March 2011! Each review will be number 1 – 7. This rather oddly named eyeliner from Naris Up is curiously called Kuromegachi. How do you pronounce that? I don’t know. I was attracted (attracted?!) to this eyeliner because of the way it’s got that thick angled cut. A lot of liners are like this (KATE, POP Beauty) although not all are equal. I have found a {Read More}

Eyeliner Week No. 1: Love Clover Pencil Eyeliner & Liquid Eyeliner Review

Love-Clover-eyeliner-.jpg

Tweet Welcome to a full week of eyeliner reviews from my latest finds from March 2011! Each review will be number 1 – 7. First up is this Love Clover pencil and liquid eyeliner which caught my eye because of the super cute design. And you can never have enough black eyeliners, right!? Love Clover is a cute brand but it’s hard to get hold of so I rarely buy it. Certain Japanese brands always use Western models. Sometimes it {Read More}

Artistry Colour Cosmetics; An Overview & Review of the range!

Artistry-Make-Up-.jpg

Tweet I always get excited when trying out a brand that is totally new to me. I got a selection of cosmetics from Artistry to try. I’ve never heard of the range before but it is supposed to be a skincare and colour cosmetics company – more about them here. The packaging is simple stuff: So that’s not madly interesting but the cases are lovely – the blusher I tried out came in this pretty compact with some crystal detail:

Wet ‘n’ Wild Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner in Black Swatch & Review

Wet-N-wild-creme-eyeliner-mega-eyes.jpg

Tweet I’m not really looking for the ‘dream’ gel eyeliner – because I have tried many and most of them are pretty good anyway. The price and textures may vary but I don’t think I have ever tried a really hideously bad black gel eyeliner. I like Bobbi Brown Gel liner a lot, Maybelline for value for money, Heavy Rotation for a matter finish, Etude House for colourful fun, Lunasol for every day….the list goes on and on. Nevertheless I {Read More}

A lash serum & liner in one: Trish McEvoy Lash Enhancing Liner Review

Trish-Mcevoy-Lsh-Enhancing-Liner-Black-.jpg

Tweet Lash growth products seem to be all the range – there are no lash enhancing mascaras too so naturally, there should be a liner that helps to promote growth! Trish McEvoy has a lash serum that you use at night, and they also have a bold black liquid liner which contains a protein complex, SymPeptide™ to improve lash fullness. Here is the liner: I’m currently trialling Mylash which totally does work but have taken a week break because my {Read More}

Benefit Magic Ink Jet Black Liquid Eyeliner might not be that magic?

Benefit-Magic-Ink-Jet-Black-Liquid-Eyeliner.jpg

Tweet Regulars may know that I love eyeliner; pencil liner, gel liner, liquid liner, I love them all. Liquid liner, is always that little bit more fiddly than a pencil liner but I love how it makes any look ‘chic’ instantly. My favourite type of eyeliner is the refillable pen sort. Shu Uemura, Shiseido, Aube Couture, Maquillage – various brands make these. Second favourite is the none refillable pen sort. I’ll go into more details about these later but they {Read More}

Lavshuca Creamy Gel Liquid Eyeliner Review in BK3 & BR2

Lavshuca-Creamy-Gel-Liquid-Eyeliner-BK.jpg

Tweet I was fooled by the title of this product – I read the gel eyeliner bit but didn’t se the liquid bit – so I was expecting a creamy pencil like Avon Supershock. Instead I got two skinny liquid liners – there were lots of shades to choose from, 2 browns, 3 blacks and 1 light pink for under the eye. I picked BK3 and BR2 – warm brown and a charcoal blakc for something a bit different: This {Read More}

2true Eyeshadow Dazzlers and Glitter Liner swatches

2true-eyeshadow-pigments.jpg

Tweet 2true is a value range which you can buy from Superdrug – any 3 items for £5 or £1.99 each. Not bad eh! I tried a few of the goodies out and did some swatches – and once again I’ve found a good quality range for the price! 2true eyeshadow dazzlers are mini pots of pigments that will last a lot longer than it looks The shades I got are sparkly and quite blue toned! There’s:
