I am always looking out for new releases from Etude House and I spotted these cool Shadow Liners a few weeks ago (took forever to arrive!). These are dual use products, both eyeshadows and liners. I’d say it’d also work beautifully as a base! I bought two, 01 which is a nude beige and 04 which is a charcoal grey. They come in plain not very inspiring plastic pots: You know what I’m like, buy […]
Etude House Petit Darling polishes are pretty nice – they’re cute, affordable and are fairly easy to apply. They do chip easily though..here are some swatches. I couldn’t resist this sweet trio set which is part of the Miss Tangerine kit. You get three orange polishes which you can wear together: I the set is a sheer peach, a glittery light orange and a brighter tangerine with fine gold glitter….
Orange is the colour of spring 2011 baby, and I love it! It’s not my favourite colour but I’d say it was in the top 5. I bought this Follow Me Tint to try – they already have a blue one out which turns pink and that is lovely! This one is already orange (boo!) and it turns…well it goes into a pinky-orange. Sounds weird? It’s lovely. What’s the difference between a satsuma and a […]
Now we move on to Miss Tangerine Sweet Shower Lips! Sweet Shower Lips is a glossy, hydrating lip stick with medium pigmentation. There are 5 shades, two pinkish and the rest orange based. The packaging is adorable:
Etude House’s newest collection is Miss Tangerine and from the instant I saw it I was IN. LOVE. For one thing I love orange make up. I love that Etude House has been brave and created a vast range (lip gloss, lip stick, blusher, eyeshadow, tints, nail polish) all in the orange hue. It certainly looks like it’ll be a big trend this Spring/Summer. So I’ll have quite a few Miss Tangerine reviews coming up! […]
I am not a fan of lip palettes at all but I couldn’t resist this beauty. The hazards of browsing online stores aimlessly…. Etude House’s Welcome to Wonder Lip Land (there’s also a shadow version): It’s smaller overall than I expected but it’s still a pretty little thing. The lid is highly reflective making fingerprint marks appear everywhere…hmph!
Etude House is one of my favourite Korean brands at the moment (Korean brands at the moment are over taking Japanese ranges in my favourites list!). Plus I love cherries (don’t talk to me if you don’t like cherries) and I love cream blusher so what could be a wiser buy that this Etude House Fresh Cherry Blusher Duo? In this cute compact is two shades of cream blusher, one side pink, one side a […]
You know I have a soft spot for gel and cream liners anyway so when I saw this Etude House Code B one which – OMG – has a little brush attached to the post, I had to buy it: Yah I know, it’s a gimmick but I am always doing my make up in bizarre places and I never have a good liner brush with me. Plus it comes with a lid so you […]
I don’t like wimpy spot treatments. I like ones that search and destroy. So, I am a big fan of Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion – it’s a great overnight spot treatment. When I spotted this Etude House AC Clinic Pink Powder Spot treatment set, I knew it was basically the same kind thing as Mario Badescu’s BUT- it comes in a set, is cheaper (around £9 including shipping) and…well it’s cute. I wasn’t sure what […]
I am obsessed with eyeshadow primers and I have many favourites – Lancome is pretty good, ELF’s is very affordable, Michael Todd’s is great if you want more coverage etc. When I saw this primer from Etude House’s range, Proof 10 (supposed to be water resistant/waterproof) I had to buy it! (I also have their mascara (meh) and cheek and lip tint (quite good!)). Proof 10’s primer is supposed to do the usual things an […]
Lip Glosses and lip tints that change colour to ‘adapt’ to your own lips are seriously hip – just look at Bourjois’s Rose Exclusif! I do think that all of these kind of lip products end up at a rosy pink – on me anyway – I’ve yet to see a truly unique shade come out of these kind of glosses! I bought this Etude House Follow Me Tint in ‘Vary Pink’ just cos I […]
I’m sure you’re seeing the pattern now; I seem to haul a ridiculous amount of eyeshadow, but you know as a beauty blogger, it’s kind of what I do. Sometimes something I buy or am sent to review really wows me – and these little solo eyeshadows from Etude House’s Petit Darling range are absolutely gorgeous! Matte Eyeshadows…I do like, in that, they have their place. I used to do shimmer all over my eyelid […]
I took these photos ages ago, of a haul I did a while ago on eBay of Petit Darling Nail Polish, though I might as well share them with you! Etude House is a Korean brand with absolutely tons of different products and ranges. Their Petit Darling nail polish range is lovely, I think the ones I have here have been discontinued but is still widely sold on eBay. OR203, beautiful light shimmer orange: PK003, […]
Another polish from Etude House Petit Darling’s range is PP903, a rich deep aubergine without any shimmer: I really don’t care that much for dark purple polishes but this one is nice, vampy without being too….(think of a word that rhymes…) trampy! What do you think?
Etude House Petit Darling Polishes are super lovely and this pretty lilac is no exception (shade PP901): I quite like the fact that there’s no sparkle to it, it’s just a super creamy lilac. What do you think?
I am a fan of Etude House Proof 10 range – it’s a waterproof range (well the model on the adverts is always in her swimming cozzie!) and I am a sucker for things that last all day. I am also really into stains at the moment! Proof 10’s Aqua Tint comes in two shades and I bought 01. It’s a sheer red which is really for the lips but I wanted to use it […]
I’m going through my relatively small nail polish collection and photographing my favourite shades. This week is Blues in all Hues! Etude House Petit Darling polishes are discontinued, largely. Don’t know why because they are lovely! Free from shimmer, they are highly pigmented and smooth to apply, they are also quite rich colours. This one is a blue – the number code has scratched off, but I love it – it reminds me of Wonderwoman. […]
I’m going through my relatively small nail polish collection and photographing my favourite shades. This week is Greens! This Etude House Petit Darling nail polish is a bright, bright green – yet it hurts my eyes a little and no I wouldn’t wear it if I had anything serious going on… I guess it’s a bit of fun. It reminds me of glow in the dark paint, whilst it’s glowing. I like the creaminess of […]
I’m going through my relatively small nail polish collection and photographing my favourite shades. This week is Greens! Will green ever be readily accepted as a every day polish? I get weird looks at work when I wear it unless its a pale mint. Anyway this one is a mossy kind of green, quite thick and creamy, it reminds me dark chinese cabbage. Mmm with a bit of Oyster sauce…. This is fairly wearable I […]
I’m going through my relatively small nail polish collection and photographing my favourite shades. This week is Orange! I like orange nail polish although I guess it comes in all kinds of hues – tangy or mellow…how do you like yours? Etude House Petit Darling’s offering in OR203 is a soft, gentle Angel Delight orange, it’s creamy, slightly peachy and easy to wear. The texture is a little thick and I found it hard waiting […]
