Top Shop launched their make up collection a few weeks ago, and I managed to dodge the whole thing (although not consciously!). I finally made dragged myself into a big Topshop near me on my lunch break so see the collection. Overall, I felt like feedback from other bloggers was lukewarm so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Here is a promo pick of the make up – I like the packaging! Looks like its […]
The moment I saw these it was an instant must have moment! These cute little pots of cream blush from Canmake come in a creamy, lightweight texture in six shades: – The melting gel-type texture, which is silky-soft on your fingers, becomes dry from the instant you apply it to your cheeks! – Contains masses of emollient agents that are highly compatible with your skin – Can be used on top of powder foundations and […]
I’ve got such a big soft spot at the moment for Korean Cosmetics. They are just as inventive as Japanese Make Up and affordable. I bought some bits from Etude House’s LUCIDarling range – the feel is futuristic and the products remind me of Jill Stuart but more plastic. I thought I was rather controlled, ahem, since I only bought four things! I wanted to test different things out before buying something in 10 shades […]
Reader Kuri rather sweetly helped my purchase some Canmake goodies from Japan! I will go through the items and review them bit by bit! I have always loved the look of Canmake although the prices were too high on beauty shops – its an extremely affordable drugstore level brand after all. Thanks for all the shiny glittery strands Clare! The items: Ever tried Canmake? Like it? Hate it?
Although I haven’t tried The Balm that much (or should we say enough) I am very found indeed of the face powders I have tried. Cabana Boy has been around for a while now, and it was sent to me when I specifically asked for something rosy and pink. But wait – what is a Cabana Boy? Does he do the Copa? Apparently, a Cabana boy is: “a sexy guy with a tan that he […]
Kevin Beautymaker is fast becoming one of my favourite brands – the cosmetics are more hit than miss, the prices are fine. I bought this super cute Pu Pu Cheek Blush after seeing the case it came in – its got a Hello Kitty bow on the front! It also comes in a soft pink. This blusher is lightweight and has a soft, blendable texture. How adorable is this domed tin it comes in? Reminds […]
I was sent this set of mineral make up from Jenulence make up a while ago to try – a Mineral Foundation, Finishing Powder and Powder Blusher. I have yet to find a Mineral Foundation product that I love – the closest thing I have is the Susan Posnick ColorFlo (although its pretty expensive). They say: Our mineral makeup and all-natural skincare products are ideal for those with chemical sensitivities, sensitive or sun-damaged skin and […]
Bloom is currently on sale in larger Superdrug stores in the UK, and very lovely it is too. Its a bit expensive (or perhaps it just feels too expensive to be on a poxy stand) but it seems to be generally quite a pleasant and inoffensive brand. I got these two Bloom Cheek tints in Bronze and Rosie (Tan and Rose) a while back: They Say: Bloom’s lightweight, quick-drying Cheek Tint gives cheeks a healthy […]
