I was suckered in by the pretty pretty packaging of this Aube Couture lipgloss so I made my first purchase from this range, in PK906, the most pigmented and darkest shade of the range. Aube Couture is a range that is terribly safe – I imagine its a range that would appeal a lot to the average woman – perfect natural shades for work and for a laid back elegant look. A bit boring for […]
My lovely Aube by Sofina is no more and has been updated to Aube Couture, which looks a bit grannyish. Mind you Aube was always hit and miss with me – fantastic innovative ideas, but the products didn’t always deliver. I’m not keen on the look of the Couture range – I hate eyeshadows in stupidly shaped pans, but let’s see. I just hope they haven’t got rid of my Rinka, spokesmodel for Aube She’s […]
I had a little dabble in Esprique’s new base and some Aube products today. Aube is brand that I always seem to purchase and 85% I’m not that happy with the goods. I have the other Aube Mascaras and they do nothing for me – too much lash floppage. This is the new comb – I’m not really keen on comb mascaras, I find they take a bit longer to apply and don’t do much […]
Aube recently released Gel & Shine Eyes as part of their Summer 2008 collection. This limited edition range has six cream shadows with an interesting feature on the top – the silver bauble unscrews to reveal a shimmer powder. Additionally there are six matching double ended eye pencils, one side a glitter highlighter, the other side a dark shade.
Aube have a new set of eyeshadows, puffy “bounce” blushers and lip colours for spring. Me and Aube are like that, ya know? Sometimes I like their stuff, most of the time is meh (in comparison to how much I like Kate, Lavshuca, Jill Stuart for example). I do love Aube’s spokesperson, Japanese Model Rika; I think she so beautiful! Anyway, Beauty Exchange have three new videos featuring make up artist Gary Chung, using the […]
Nothing beats boreem more than watching Make Up videos on You Tube! We all know the king is Enkore with his amazingly useful videos but there is also Beauty Exchange, which is a Hong Kong based website and network who have good videos with make overs done by guests artists. Rick Chin did some looks using Aube’s summer range. There is no talking or guidence with the video so I didn’t pay lots of attention […]
I was browsing the QVC website a while ago and I discovered this Laura Gellar Product: It is a white highlight powder, which you can use under the brown, down the bridge of the nose, on the cheekbones. All over your face, if you want to be a make shift Christmas tree. However, it is waitlist only in the UK, so in the meantime, Benefit came out with Miss Popularity: Which for all intents and […]
Gary Chung is a Hong Kong Make Up artist, who has a few good videos up on You Tube in conjunction with Beauty Exchange. Sofina, a popular brand in Japan, who own brands like Raycious, Hada.ka, Fine Fit (brands that focus on the skin) and Aube, a colour make up range, have launched Alblanc products by making some excellent videos along with Gary Here. The sexy/cute looks are wonderful to watch and the model is […]
