Tweet My lovely Aube by Sofina is no more and has been updated to Aube Couture, which looks a bit grannyish. Mind you Aube was always hit and miss with me – fantastic innovative ideas, but the products didn’t always deliver. I’m not keen on the look of the Couture range – I hate eyeshadows in stupidly shaped pans, but let’s see. I just hope they haven’t got rid of my Rinka, spokesmodel for Aube She’s so purdy!

Tweet I had a little dabble in Esprique’s new base and some Aube products today. Aube is brand that I always seem to purchase and 85% I’m not that happy with the goods. I have the other Aube Mascaras and they do nothing for me – too much lash floppage. Tweet Aube recently released Gel & Shine Eyes as part of their Summer 2008 collection. This limited edition range has six cream shadows with an interesting feature on the top – the silver bauble unscrews to reveal a shimmer powder. Additionally there are six matching double ended eye pencils, one side a glitter highlighter, the other side a dark shade.

We all know the king is Enkore with his amazingly useful videos but there is also Beauty Exchange, which is a Hong Kong based website and network who have good videos with make overs done by guests artists.
