The Superdrug Healthy and Beauty Card has been around for 5 years now – if you haven’t picked one up yet it’s definitely worth doing so as it’s free and there’s some nice benefits with it, such as 10% off when you spend £5 or more on baby stuff, free post and packing online, and deals just for members. Also, you can collect points and use them towards your shopping (it’s fairly generous, I have managed to get £5 off here and there).
You can also earn 500 points on selected purchases (usually scents) or save 10% of some products (like the Barry M Nail Paint). Every little bit does add up. The current offers are here.
I was given £40 credit to spend in Superdrug and here are some of the things I have purchased (if you search the website there are some excellent bargains to be had!).
Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Exfoliating Face Pads – Pads are all the rage, as are acids so this combines the two nicely. I find using this kind of pad super fast and easy, and I haven’t used the brand in a while so it’s nice to try something new from them.
Currently on offer for £8.59
What shopping at Superdrug does is makes me look at brands I don’t usually buy from. The Maybelline Rio Collection looks a lot of fun.
I bought the Eraser Eye Concealer – I have wanted to try this for the longest time. I also got the Vivid Matte Lip Gloss in Electric Pink Wrap because I LOVE hot pink when the sun is out and I am convinced this is the colour Gigi Hadid wore when she was on RuPaul’s Drag Race (I hope it was).
Currently Maybelline is 2 for £10. Bargain!
I then purchased the L’Oreal Nude Magique Cushion (£9.99) – I love cushion foundations but Asian branded ones NEVER match my skintone. I use MAC NC35 and they rarely run dark enough for me so I don’t even bother buying their brands any more. A Western brand cushion however, is likely to have a shade for me (I bought 07 Golden Beige to try). Superdruge have a buy 1 get 1 for half price offer so I also purchased the L’Oreal Glam Bronzer Cushion De Soleil – a bronzer. Worth a go at £5 I thought!
Finally – how could I resist a little something for the kids to spend up my credit? Ella’s Kitchen have a slightly more grown up range of bars and pouches (ie. Mango and Pumpkin, Orange and Carrot, Pineapple and Coconut etc.) You get 10% off when you spend £5 on kids things so again, it’s a deal!
So that was my £40!
I would also recommend Lottie Brushes (exclusive to Superdrug!), Make Up Academy, Make Up Revolution, and their Solait skincare range.
