Just the name, Bronzing Custard is enough to make you go mmmmm. Unfortunately this was not actually a custard and was not the texture of custard.
However – Australian Brand, Vani-T’s Bronzing Custard is a rather nice gradual tan product that boasts 99 per cent natural ingredients.
They say: a unique blend of intense, hydrating oils and powerful antioxidants quench the skins thirst, leaving it hydrated, fresh and radiant. Formulated with Marine Collagen extract, Aloe Vera, Vitamin A & E, Jojoba and sunflower oils to nourish and improve skin’s elasticity, tone and texture.
And apparently its Jennifer Aniston’s favourite. Everything these days, according to PR people seems to be Jennifer Aniston’s favourite. Fake tan, Chocolate Hob Nobs, a Vileda mop.
We have already discussed that I am not a fake of orange tan and yesterday, Megan, star of Youtube and her big obnoxious teenage sister laughed hard at my oranged legs thanks to Eco Tan.
Bronzing custard is a gradual tan and it is a pretty good moisturizer too. The cream is white and fairly liquid and smells very nice, vanilla like. As it starts to develop the old fake tan smell comes back in – its not horrid but it is 100 per cent there.
The result was quite natural, not orange and actually, quite nice. I really need to stick to tans like this because other, full on tans for me are very hard to get even. For me this was a nice 2 in 1 light tanner and moisturizer. I am hoping people won’t point and laugh.
They sell Vani-T in Harvey Nichols…and various place online like here for about £15.
