Contouring, I find, makes a big difference to the face, even if its just a quick bit of shading and highlighting. I bought this unusually names Top 10 V-Line Maker from Ebay, by Korean brand Etude House.
As well as being a bronzer, its also a ‘V Line’ maker – V line? Do they mean cleavage enhancer? It there’s one place I don’t need enhancing, its there!

Best areas to contour:
Under the cheekbone
Under the chin
Sides of the forehead (you can cover all three areas with the magic ’3′ shape covering the temple, cheek bone and chin).
Highlight:
Centre of the forehead
Tops of cheeks
Around the collarbones
Also the outer ‘V’ (the top of the cheekbone leading up to the end of the eyebrow.)
It is a pretty compact and its handy having both shades in one place. The texture of the powder is somewhere between soft and hard – its not overly pigmented but you would still need a light hand with these colours – the darker shade would be better I think, if it were more cool toned, like Illamasqua’s Mischief Blusher.
Instead it is more of a bronzer, and warm toned making it hard to wear for cool toned girls. Too much, and it verges on slightly orange. With a light hand it looks quite good but I do have a very warm toned complexion at the moment.
There is a mild shimmer to this powder – its actually not that bad (more prominent with the highlighter) but nevertheless, I prefer mattes when contouring.
Verdict: Its not for everyone because the darker shade is such a warm toned brown, but I like it and its makes it easier for me to contour and go!

It’s handy having both the contour and the highlighter in the same compact. More brands should do that; Suqqu has something similar with the pressed powders, but it is a lot more expensive and I find the Deep (contour) shade in that a bit orangey too.
Illamasqua Primal is my go-to contour colour these days – it’s almost greyish brown.

Yes I agree, i like those muted, matte almost dull shades for contouring as opposed to anything too colourful! I am a big fan of Illamasqua Mischief for that.
