I’ve sat on these (not literally) myface One Hit Wonder Lip Glosses for a while – three sparkly shades of glittery lip gloss – for some reason as I felt disinterested until now. But now that it’s Christmas (kind of) and there is no better time for sparky things!

I love sparkly lip gloss. Not all sparkly lip glosses are equal.

One Hit Wonder lip gloss comes in three metallic shades, a white, a silver and a gold. It kind of makes sense, because these shades are quite neutral and can be used on top of most other colours:

First off, I like the packaging. They are long squeezy tubes, which means you can get all the product out and it’s easy to control and is hygienic.

There’s plenty of glitter in these!

Silver Screen and Diamond & Pearls are similar except one has a slightly more silvery base and has more glitter.

Diamonds and Pearls is a pretty standard clear gloss with lots of sparkles. It’s the most neutral and can be used will other lip colours. I wouldn’t say these are gritty at all, yet they are somewhat chunky in appearance.

I don’t know…maybe the glitter is not as multi-dimensional as I’d like.

Silver Screen is packed with glitter and is full on:

It’s also quite grey/metallic – I don’t think this was that flattering on my lips on it’s own – I would use this with something else underneath, but then again it was weird over my rosy pinks.

I keep thinking, TIN MAN…..

Gilt-y is my favourite, maybe because it has that touch of warmth. Just a touch mind. See in this one there are chunkier gold sparkles:

These kind of lip colours do look lovely in the light and in the evenings – I don’t know, I think they do look a but odd on their own and during the day with a neutral eye. It’s like you almost have to get into character with these super super sparkly glosses.

But if you are looking for something PACKED with glitter these are definitely a nice sparkly addition – but I don’t think you need all three at all though they are quite similar when on the lips.

P.S. I miss my Dior Sparkle Top Coat – It’s lost somewhere with…everything else I own and actually like!

These are £8.88 from Boots, it’s currently on 3 for 2.

Sparkly enough for you or just too much?
