After the mad month of indulgence (i.e. December) and just general sluggishness, I decided to try and work off some off that terrible float and excess. I am not someone who looks for quick fixes on weight loss; I could do with losing some excess but I know this naturally falls off once the weather improves slightly and I do a lot of walking with a double buggy!
I decided to give the Proto-Col Slim Fizz tablets a go for a short period to see if it could help me kick start that constant eating and get myself off the snacking during the evenings.
In each pack you get a 10 day programme – there is 2 tubes in there. There is a recommendation chart for how long you should use it depending on how much weight you want to lose.
Here are some facts about the product:
– There are 6 calories per serving
– It contains naturally soluble fibre derived from the Konjac plant (which is like a sponge)
– It is gluten and dairy free, it is fine for vegetarians
It helps with cravings, reduces cholesterol and can be used with a calorie controlled diet.
It tastes sort of orangey.
In the end I decided to use this for a week and gave some other packs I had to my friend who was looking to lose some weight.
When I used this it’s really interesting as the craving to eat or snack goes away – like you just don’t need it. During the day I am fine with eating ok and I still need nutrients of course but to take away that annoying evening snacking this seemed to work a treat. I found myself feeling less heavy and sluggish in the mornings too.
My friend took a 15 day dosage of this twice a day (I only did the evenings) and dropped 4lbs – great for her because she struggles so much with losing weight so she is very happy with this stuff and it’s just easy to take – just like having a vitamin tablet.
Here is what it looks like in the water – the tablet expands and it looks like spongey seaweed-y stuff at the bottom:
