Part of the Peripera Frozen collection are two lip products, the Magic Glam Lip Tints in Let It Go (Elsa’s colour) and I’m Happy Kristoff (Anna’s colour). Both colours appeal to me, one is a bright pink and the other is an orange coral.
The packaging is super cute:
Magic Glam Tint is an interesting and very likeable texture – it reminds me of YSL’s Glossy Lip Stain – it applies like a gloss, but has a very shiny finish, but also a lot of pigment. One coat is sufficient, but two leaves a really nice rich colour. As it’s a tint, it also stains and lasts surprisingly long on the lips, even after drinking.
The packaging again – no complaints here, there’s a nice cartoon on the lid for Frozen fans (not just a cheap sticker stuck on there).
The brush is a soft sponge in a heart shape (the point helps you get into the corners of the lips and also draw the cupids bow), and the hollow helps disperse product evenly. I dislike overly hard applicators and this is nice and soft with a bit of give to it, so it’s nice to use.
Both colours are free of shimmer but they are super glossy and stain nicely. They are also so very pigmented for something with such a light texture. They don’t set entirely on the lips, so if you smack your lips after applying this, you will still be able to ‘feel’ it there, but it isn’t overly stickily (but there is so tackiness there). I don’t mind this as it makes it more long lasting and also, it IS NOT DRYING. I keep trying tints at the moment and they all suck the moisture out of my lips, but not this one, thankfully.
Bring out more shades Peripera! I am a fan of this formula!
I paid around £7 each for these on eBay. I love both shades (please see my next post for how they look on my skin tone).
